Great location driving from Nagoya. Easy access with minimum mountain roads. Ski resort has plenty of options from intermediates to those that like some speed and steepness. Unfortunately the snow was on the slushy side as temperatures were hovering around 5c. Very warm for skiing. Had a lovely time. Thank you again Japan.

Nice ski field with plenty of parking (1000yen/day). Ski lifts are pretty good, 50+k yen for full day, 40+k yen for half day. You can hire everything except, ski goggles and gloves. Bring your own or buy at the park (a bit ex as expected). Plenty of seating for dining. Slopes for beginners are nice and long.

A wonderful skii park in Gifu, about an hour and a half drive from Nagoya. The drive there was beautiful as the car tunnelled through mountains after mountains and suddenly a winter wonderland appears taking our breaths away. The skii slopes at Taksu were gentle and good for beginners and there are also steeper slopes for the experienced skiiers. Ski lifts were not crowded at all and it was magical sitting on the skii lifts going through snowy peaks and valleys and rivers. It was simply breathtaking views at the top of the ski slopes. Powdery slow, easy to rent equipment, gears and overall a great skiing experience!

The biggest snow park in west region. This ski resort has a gondola and ski lift to the top with a very good view

It’s a huge ski resort!

You have to pay ticket worth 4,500 yen if you wanna snowboard and ski because the ticket is used to ride the cable car and lift.

The area for beginners and non-beginners are different too!

It’s nice that there is a patrol on duty, in cases of accidents.

Such a beautiful day that it was impossible to be objective. The snow was poro-poro (powder) and muhu (no wind).

Pretty big ski resort with lots of variety and easily accessible from Nagoya. Much cheaper than Hakuba etc. But still a very good experience overall. Definitely recommend the 高鷲マウンテンバス discount lift tickets if you're going to visit as it makes things much cheaper.

They have man made snow so it lasts pretty long. I highly recommend the restaurant on the second floor because it is very foreigners friendly. The display and directions are easy and nice. All the stuffs are friendly.

I’m living in Japan but I don’t see all the stuffs are friendly most times. They will pretend they are nice. But at this restaurant, although customers don’t smile back or greet back the stuffs are generally nicer and show us the smiles each time. I think the manager must be a nice person here.

Also, the trash are collected each time when it’s full.

Whichever the management company is, they are superb level.

Only 80 minutes from Nagoya this snow park has a wide variety of runs for all ability levels. Fast lifts help you to enjoy your day.

My place to go. Always fun, lots of food choices, big enough that you’re not falling over anyone. Takasu Terrace at the top is a nice place to chill and enjoy the view.

Despite warm winter there are still courses you can enjoy. It is nicer if you have at least learned the basics of snowboarding and skiing, at least just to avoid hitting other people. The place is big but it is also crowded. The restaurants are cool, there are variety of choices. The Takasu Terrace would have been great if they would not close before 3pm. We missed it!

For beginners, it would be great to purchase the beginners course lift to save money and just purchase 1 point lift if you want to visit the terrace.

For those who want to rent gears, I suggest you rent from stores before the resort to save time. It took 2 hours for some people to rent gears. It is a waste of time.

Overall, it is a lot a fun. I will definitely visit again, not just for a day maybe 3 more days. ☺

Loved the place, min. things you need to buy - goggles gloves, knitted cap, warmers, ticket which includes entry & cable car access. Rent out other stuff. Spend your whole day here, with or without friends doesn't matter, learning lessons also available, it's perfect - food & rest places are easily accessible.

We were here before major snowfall arrived in the area but the slopes were already seeded with ma made snow and it was good enough to ride on.

Food choices on the second floor were decent and seating was plentiful. The lift was well maintained and operated in an orderly fashion.

The cafe at the top of the hill was an ideal place to warm up between rides. Great view of the surrounding area as well.

Nice snow, very white and cold. The restaurant is a little pricey, the rental went smooth with the qr code in English. The parking place is wide and the shower toilet clean. Yeah this is a good boarding area, with more boarders than skiers.

Great ski park during winter season.
Offers good tracks and lifts (open and closed lifts). The tracks are well maintained also with artificial snow during long periods without natural snow.
There are tracks and ramps for first timers, tracks for beginners to most skilled skiers and snow borders.
There are rental shops for appareils. Also some restaurants and convenience stores.
There are also a big snow park with ramps of all sizes and big half pipe.
The access is usually easy even during snowy days.

One of my most favourite ski resorts in Japan. It doesn't always get the powder, but when it does its a really fun place to go. It also has a good snow park with a variety of items and different sized kickers

Plenty of snow. Fast and easy access from Nagoya. All ski and snowboarding gear available for rental. Great restaurant with views of the main piste. Excellent for one day trips from Nagoya, Aichi or Gifu.

Very nice resort, well structured. Tends to have better snow than it's neighbor Dynaland due to the geography, as it gets a little less sunlight. Snow depth reports are as unreliable as most Japanese resorts.
