Shiga Kogen Prince Hotel East Wing

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and could help make reservations on our behalf in Japanese, contact ticket offices, etc. Our room included breakfast, which was a fantastic buffet. The more formal dinner option was very expensive. A small convenience store and ski rental is indoors and open until 9 pm. There are drink vending machines and a laundry, although the driers are not very useful.

It is a very short walk/ski to the gondola, and a free evening bus evey half hour toward the ichinose restaurants, as well as the town bus free to shiga kogen area.

I didn’t stay at the hotel but had a great experience when I forgot my skis.

A few days after I left Shiga Kogen I realized I actually had left my daughter’s and my skis in the parking lot.

I called the hotel and a lady called Kimi helped me look for the skis. She found them and sent them to my home in Yokohama. After they arrived she called me to check if they arrived and if everything was in order.

I am always surprised how good service in Japan is and this was another great example. Thank you Kimi-san!

I didn’t stay here - but I wanted to thank the amazing front desk team who helped me find my phone today. They were incredible - calling every office all over the mountain to find it. They went above and beyond - and if this is the service a non-guest receives, the experience staying here must be fantastic. I know where I’ll be staying next time I’m in Shiga Kogen. Thank you ladies!

The best food I’ve ever had, almost in any context, in my life (okay, I don’t get out much). . . I wouldn’t dream of getting a better, more interesting, meal outside.

The staff are overwhelming helpful and polite. The hotel is a little tired but very clean. There is a ski shop located inside the building which had the same equipment as in several other hotels. The equipment is good with some new season gear and middle of the ground pricing (it’s a lot easier to rent at the hotel then travel into town to shop around then cart it back). It is ski in / ski out with the gondola a few meters from the door (you can hear the “ding ding” in the morning - so no sleep ins past 9am!). There is a free (and regular) shuttle service to and from the village to get food in the evenings and a small “7/11” - like store on the ground floor (Coke, Pringle’s, washing power, etc). There are also free, modern washing machines and dryers free of charge on the ground floor. The breakfast is a mix of western and local dishes with bacon, eggs, juice, omelettes and cereal all available. Wonderful stay, will visit again. Thank you to the amazing staff.

Old rooms.
They need the bar to be open. More food options, a renovation, better pillows, more power, a thermostat in the room, movies on the TV in english, an Atm, a pharmacy or items, massage, onsen, spa, real coffee, lunch options.

Staying at the east wing for a 7 day ski holiday. Awesome experience! Room is clean and big with a great view at the ski slope. Must return!

Nice French Resturant

3月初頭にスキー旅行で2泊利用しました。
10年数年前に関西圏のプリンスに泊まった際は料理も対応もいまいちの印象で、失礼ながら今回も同じだろうと思っていました。
実際はおおきく異なり必要十分な丁寧な対応をしていだきました。料理もおいしく頂きこんなに違うのかと印象が大きく変わりました。また寄らせて頂きたいと思います。

雪質の良い志賀高原にあり、お部屋も広くてゆったりしてます。
ツインのお部屋はセミダブルベッドに３人掛けのソファー付きです。
ｵﾌﾛとﾄｲﾚと洗面はそれぞれ独立しているタイプです。
夕食は洋食かしゃぶしゃぶか中華のコースが選べます。
レストランはとても雰囲気が良く、お食事もとても美味しいです！
ホテル出てすぐにゴンドラ乗り場もあるので、便利です。

ゆったりとした広さのお部屋です。少しだけラグジュアリーな気分に浸れます。私をスキーに連れてってのスキーファンは同じ模様のカーテンもワクワクさせられますよ。

静かに過ごせます。混んでないというのは、コロナ禍で改めて貴重だと思う。
レストランは、人員体制の問題？から、ビッフェ＋メインディッシュ形式なっています。これはこれで、アリだと思う。天ぷらと鍋は同じだけど、それ以外は日替わり組み換えされている感じがする。朝の日替わり茶漬けが泣かせます。なお、ベットの裏にコンセントがあるのは豆知識です。
WI-FIは、ネトフリも問題なし。無料洗濯乾燥機は大変うれしい。ベビーベッド可、子供アメニティがありました。車がカマクラになってしまいましたが、ホテルの方に助けてもらって掘り出しできたのには助かりました。

2月4日に行きました。今年は雪が多く道路脇には２m弱の雪の壁がありました。平日だったのでお客様は少なめ。焼額山の頂上から滑走すれば最高の気分です。

レストランはプリンスホテルだけあってかなり高めの価格設定ですが、施設の充実さを考えるとこんなもんかと。総じて評価は高いです。
焼額山で滑って、お昼はプリンスでゆっくり休憩して、またゴンドラに乗って山頂へ。
贅沢なひと時です。
食事はメニューによってはウェイターさんがテーブルまで運んできてくれます。

中午滑雪順路到二樓簡餐餐廳吃飯，好吃值得，有炸豬排飯，有生魚丼，雞肉義大利麵，牛肉咖哩飯，量很夠，不可以攜帶外食，飲料覺得貴可以吃完再到一樓販賣部買，價格比較合理。

目の前がゲレンデで、ロープウェイもすぐ横で大変便利です。スキーをもって歩かないで行けるのが最高です。
朝のファーストトラックも魅力的です。

メインダイニングルームで、夕食いただきました。
コース料理はもちろん、ワインも美味しく、落ち着いた雰囲気でいただきました。
ご馳走さまでした。

ここは遠いけどスキー場は最高。22年初宿泊。西よりコスパ悪いけど部屋は広い。

一ノ瀬と奥志賀の中間、焼額山の麓に位置する。快適なホテルでスキーに最適。

ランチで利用しました。
雰囲気のいい空間でパスタもタレカツ丼も美味しくいただきました。
また利用したいです。
