Shinagawa Station JR Ticket Counter (op. East Japan Railway)

I didn't expect that the person at the ticket counter would be talking in English. I was so delighted that she personally asked me to give all the coins instead of notes as carrying and handling coins are really tough jobs for foreigners.
I loved the services here in Shinagawa Station

A must visit place to go to get your JR ticket connections for your travels throughout Japan. Helpful, English speaking staff who provide patient replies to all queries. Unless you are traveling constantly on back to back days it may not always be cost effective to buy the JR Pass, as the pass starts counting from consecutive days. There's always a waiting line but it moves rather quickly.

From here you can get bullet trains to travel long distance. It is 20 mins away from Haneda international Airport.

Very nice train station, one of earliest train station build in Tokyo. Connected to shopping mall and restaurants and just 10 min walking distance to Shinagawa Prince Hotel where I am staying.

Saw massive lines everywhere else to exchange JR Pass, so I tried to find a more obscure counter, and came here. was only one person in line so it was well worth the trip.

the people who work there are very nice and helpful. I can't understand the negative comments. We don't speak Japanese, but we were still able to get help. we exchanged the Jr Pass voucher there and reserved seats for the shinkasen.

Iwasthere for transiting by in near tokyo to continue bext day trip. Crowded station with many option of transportation to many japan destinations.

Amazing, polite and energetic, staff will give you all required details, even if their working hours are getting over.

Good service. Can communicate with Japanese staff via translation device.

とても込み合います(特に大型連休や、土日)が親切に対応してくれます。尚、東海道新幹線は、別の窓口なので注意が必要です。

googlemapsでこちらの居場所を登録して、いる筈なのに、写真投稿しても居場所の確認する居場所 撮影場所がリストに出ず、手打ちしても他の選択リストになり、時間がかかるけど 何で😳🙍

障害カード発生。
ビューカード定期Suicaビザでしたが スムーズに磁気定期カードに変換して頂きました。
市川駅改札と品川駅みどりの窓口に感謝。
でもカード情報乗っ取られたくないですね。
