Good and interactive experience! You can get very close to the cute animals! Recommend visiting during the feeding time (in the afternoon). The staff were very friendly and approachable too.

I think this is the best place in the world. You can see the penguins and so many kinds of animals close to you. It feels like you are one of a fish in the ocean! After that, you can also go shopping to end up your perfect day ❤

This aquarium is within a shopping center, tickets and masks are sold at the vending machine. I do suggest using a mask, while I did not have to wait to enter, but there were still lots of people, adults & kids, and also animals in a small space.

You won’t be able to spend all day there however with many shops and restaurants around it is still a good place to visit for a day activity and seemed being kids friendly environment.

Amazing experience. This is an aquarium that’s inside of a mall - I’m not used to that concept but overall, it was a very memorable experience. The facility itself is very small, however, the space is well utilized.
Plus, they display mammals as well as marine animals. It’s neat to be able to see animals close up.
We were excited about the touch tanks - they have sharks.
I do recommend coming here and spend about 2-3 hours to enjoy the atmosphere.

From digital introduction, to a wide range of animals in-house, I love DMM! We saw 🦥 and penguins and fed them by paying just ¥300 each! So worth it to closely interact with these animals! Also love the fish tanks where you could step into a dark room and look down on a glass surface with sharks swimming underneath!!! Touching baby sharks is also available after washing hands! We went on a Wednesday so it was not crowded at all. Highly recommended for all especially families with kids!

Great aquarium! No whale sharks but a lot of hands on fun for the kids. You can touch sea urchins, brittlestars and even sharks. They have some truly spectacular exhibits. One of my favorites is the one where you can walk out over the tank and watch the fish 🐠 swim down below you.

Gotta admit, came here thinking it would be lame after reading some of the reviews and would be another place blacklisted for us, BUT I honestly liked this place better than Churaumi. Relaxing place to chill and enjoy the exhibits unlike Churaumi where you are fighting tourists. Remember to buy your tickets at the windows and get your ¥700off per person discount for being local. We had a killer time here with Chiyo. As you can see parking was empty and the place we pretty much had it to ourselves. All of these review complain about downloading an App. Me and my family were fine just enjoying the animals, no app needed.

I was completely shocked and extremely happy about discovering kariyushi aquarium. The place is not as big, but the species and animals in the area of the showroom beats everything. Hands-down best experience we got to touch fish, sharks starfish. You could feed the animals, but you have to pay in advance. Overall, I would definitely recommend you bringing your family.

Cool aquarium and worth the trip down. Smaller but still has a lot of things kids will like. They have a couple of other animals to include Meerkats and Sloths.

Easy to access from Naha airport. My favorite is the glass floor where you can stand on the big water tank. The size is not as big but still has a variety of fish and some animals. Also, they offer feeding tickets to sloths or tortoises etc.

Great little aquarium and animal exhibit. It’s a little pricy, but worth the experience. A wide variety of aquatic life and other wildlife. If you’re hungry, there is a cafe inside the Aquarium, or there is a food court inside the attached mall with many food options. There is also access to the beach with amazing ocean views. For those plane watchers, you can watch planes land at Naha Airport all day!

This place is really awesome. The decoration around the aquariums, the big tanks with lightings and the spot where you can actually interact a bit with some fish.

The bad point is the 2/3 spots where is not fish but animal who live in shockingly small place, that are totally unnecessary, and feel kind of sad. There is also a room where there is some sloth and bird that can roam freely in the room but people really never leave them alone.

A part from those room, the rest of the experience is really great. A bit pricey but worth it.

Place this being next to the mall was a smart move. This place is beautiful. A lot of hidden animals. Great ambiance. One of the hidden and amazing things is the digital art on the wall next to the alligator observatory. I caught that by chance but it was a sight to see. You could easily spend a good 2 hours viewing everything. Great place.

Lots of very interesting fish. I love the exhibit where you get to touch the fish! Make sure you don't miss the garden eels.

Very cute! When here for a date and we both felt like little kids when we saw all the animals. FYI this is the smaller aquarium on Okinawa.

Kariyushi Aquarium in Okinawa is a fantastic place to visit! I strongly recommend local and tourist to visit this great place.
Very clean and good sanitization system. If you feel hungry there is cafe which provide great foods.

I was surprised at how nice thw aquarium was for being inside a mall. It was 2400 yen for an adult but super worth it. I would go again.

We had so much fun here, it is clean and well maintained, lots of hands on activities and photo ops. a must visit for families!
There are ticket machines at the entrance.
And lots of shopping in the same building 😁😁

Made it out on the one year anniversary. Amazing experience for the whole family. Highly recommended. Especially the late night bar area on the first floor. Just an overall great time to be had.
