Umikaji Terrace Senagajima

Great vibes and a beautiful place to have a relaxing drink whilst watching the sunset. There is an open field area where people let their dogs play at. The terraces have a wide variety of food cuisines like Thai, American, Hawaiian, Mexican etc. there are also a number of dessert cafes there too.

The beach is accessible and you can walk there, there are taps nearby to rinse sand off. The public toilet bins are overflowing from trash, sadly, but other than that they are clean to use. Planes fly overhead pretty often, and they don’t make too much noise. So it’s a very nice place to wind down and relax after a long day.

My favourite place in okinawa! View was superb and it s such a good place to chill for a whole day. Plenty of small nice restaurants clustering on white slope, that s why people call it “mini greece” in okinawa. It was very windy there so suggest to equip with windbreakers. Noise of planes taking off can be quite loud and it would be great if thats less frequent.

Nice place to visit and enjoy some food and drinks. Lots of outlets and plenty of room. Weather was a bit wet so not that busy when visiting

Nice place to be in for the kids. It's near the airport so there are endless airplanes landing and taking off that can keep them entertained.

Nice place to chill out too. Didn't spent much time here as we dropped by to get a quick bite before going to the airport.

If you can, you can plan a lunch here before heading to the outlet mall for shopping.

Recommend going near sunset time! Definitely beautiful views worthy of taking photos. I went to Ice Terrace, Gypsy Bar, Kans Restaurant and Gatto

Was here on my last day as it was near Naha. As it was around 3pm, it was quite hot. So I just did a quick walk near the shore for some quick pictures. It was really crowded though, with a mix of tourists coming in tour buses and self-drive visitors. It would be nice to sit around to watch the planes take off in the distance. I think it should be nice to watch the sunset here! Might come again next time !

Amazing view even we got there in a windy and cloudy day

This place is awesome. Theres some parking available. Best to go here towards the evening prior to sunset as its hot. The view of the ocean and watching the planes takeoff and land is fun. The wide variety of food restaurants and cafes is superb. I highly recommend passing by here just to relax and enjoy the evening. Theres also a hotel at the top but quite pricey. The food ranges from american to thai and other island cuisine. There is also parking at the rear of the facility and the island is small enough to walk around and explore.

Love the view and the many bars and foods shops/restaurants. I would recommend going there before sunset and staying for a bit after sundown.

Love this place, is very close to Naha international airport so you can watch the planes while you are eating. I called it the mini Santorini in Okinawa lol. There is a parking area and also can park on the street. Not to mention the hot spring waters inside the hotel/spa on the top.
If you are around do not miss this area you will love it. Be prepared to climb stairs up and down.

An amazing spot for seaside strolls to watch the sunset, enjoy some food and to watch airplanes go by. The terrace has boutique shops, massage establishments, cafes, restaurants and more. It is located opposite the end of the Naha Airport runways so you'll get lots of planes landing and taking off. We were lucky enough to see some fighter jets take off and land. Also, there were tons of cats around!

Very beautiful place, facing west and next to Naha airport runway. Great spot to look at thr sunset and aircraft landings. Got bunch of restaurants there as well. Can enjoy the view while having a meal.

I came here for a happy pancake and by chance I was amazed with the beauty of the area. Sea water is so blue and since it’s near to Naha Airport, you can see planes ✈ landing in Naha airport from time to time. Very beautiful scenery.

Beautiful Santorini scenery close to Naha airport and great place to spot air planes as they come into Naha Airport. Night ambient is so beautiful and siren.

A cool place to go right before you jump on the plane. Taco rice is good.

The Okinawa version of Santorini, awesome for sunsets overlooking the ocean. You can access via a bus, but definitely recommend to get a car if you can. It's a must visit from Naha

Awesome place, very beautiful. Can closely see airplane takeoff and landing. Also a good place to see sunset.
Food and drinks are a little bit expensive, but still a good place to relax.
A short is no enough parking lot, really hard to find parking lot in weekend.

Nice place and there are many restaurants you can find.

The highlight of our Okinawa trip is this Senagajima. This Santorini of Okinawa is super beautiful, the weather is breezing when we were here which is normally super hot so its good to enjoy walking near the beach.
