Aobanomori Park

Nice to walk around in. It has plenty of toilets underway and there is a supermarket nearby. I really liked the Western garden part. You can sit there and just relax for a while. There’s also children’s playgrounds and sport fields.

Lovely park! We liked especially the cats which seemed to be well cared. We understood these cats are taken care of by volunteers. It is heartwarming to know there are people like this.

Great park with lots of sakura and ume. I had great memories here.

A great park which is only 45 mins out from Central Tokyo.
Has 3 sites for parking each 300 yen for 4 hours.
The park has a large pond and plenty of walking paths - it's definitely best to come in spring as it has lots of Sakura trees and what's great is they have many benches and tables so you can have a seated picnic.
They have a small area for kids to play - built for younger kids up to 7 also a little water park where you can splash about during the summer.

Just ❤ this park during sakura blooming season. Lots of sakura tree with beautiful lighting at night. Also safety jogging roads & many more. In a word fabulous park in central chiba. 最高だね。

It's an amazing place if you love spending time in nature!

Great place to enjoy nature. But they charge us parking fee. Its 300 yen for 4 hours its not too bad. There is dog park too. We need register first before using there. Membership fee is 700 yen for a year. You need a photo of your dog. Need renew every year. They send us Hagaki about renewing membership when we need.

Such a good place to spend a weekend, specially during the Sakura blooming season.

The park is good enough to spend your half day or even your whole day strolling around the park. There are lots of open spaces where in you can lay your mat and rest or do picnic with your family or friends. You can also stroll around the park using your bicycle. If you get tired while biking around the park, you can find vending machines at certain locations inside the park to buy some drinks to quench your thirst .The park also offers great view specially during spring where numbers of beautiful cherry blossoms can be seen around the park. From the topmost part of the park you can see the views of houses in front of the house. If you are going alone, you can still enjoy the park because by being alone, you can find your spot inside the park if you want to really find silence and peace. I think, biking is the best way to go around the park because what I've said before, it is a big park. But if you are into fitness, you can jog here even just for four rounds and definitely you burned enough calories by doing running, jogging or walking around.
