Jōyama Park

A nice park with modern play equipment and a large green grass area surrounded by trees.

The trees are Cherry blossom so if you visit in April you will see them in bloom. They provide a nice shaded place to sit and enjoy a picnic.

There are two swings a slide and a fort for the kids to climb.

There are clean toilets at the edge of the park and a water fountain with drinking water.

Plenty of free parking is next to the park and a short distance from the park you can either visit Zenkoji Temple in one direction or a free zoo in the other. Both are located within a short (5 minute) walking distance.

This is such a peaceful park behind the Zenkoji temple. During the cherry blossoms season, you can see many beautiful sakura here.

Our kids loved this park, which actually had some grass area. A rarity in Japan!

Love so much this park, small but have complete entertainment like zoo (with snow monkey in it) and some rides to make your child happy. Great for age 1-10 years old.. But even older will enjoy it👍 this park is free entrance but you need to pay small money for the rides

Nice play to have bonding moments with the family.

One of the best park in Nagano city. This is like a complex park, a zoo, tennis court, museum, and swiming pool are in there. Also good place for Pokemon players :)

ＺＥＮＫＯＵＺＩの裏手にある公園で近くに県立美術館や動物園などがあります。
桜の名所で春先には多くの方々が徘徊しております。

とても天気が良く、サクラの木が
あんなに沢山あるとは思っていなかった

コロナや何やらで今年は

本当にいいですよね

善光寺から歩いてすぐの場所にある城山公園。リニューアルしてからは、公園と美術館がとてもキレイになりました。小さいですが動物園もあります。駐車場もあり、バス停も目の前のためアクセスも悪くないです。公園もとても広く子ども連れの方が多くテント持参でピクニックに来られている方も。夏場は噴水が定期的に出ているので、遊ぶのに最適です。
