Hotel JAL City Nagano

Great hotel! Rooms were small for 2 people with snowboards but would say it would be fine with one suitcase. Really clean - comfy beds- lots of free amenities! 10 min walk from station

Good location and friendly staff. Rooms were slightly bigger than other business hotels that we’ve stayed in during our trip and the room was about the same price point. Relatively good amount of storage space as well. Bed was comfortable.

It was a bit stuffy and the air conditioning didn’t work but at least the windows opened (hence docking 1 star).

We stayed one night a family of 5 with teenagers, it was a very pleasant stay, walking distance from Nagano station a lot of restaurants on the way to the hotel, they gave us 3 rooms, it was very well equipped with many amenities, washers, and a manga lybrary for the kids. Amenities included: all skincare products, cleansing milk lotions, bath salts, razors, toothbrush, toothpaste, very very complete, pijamas, even music in your headboard. Loved it, would stay again

The hotel is from a 8 minutes walk from the Nagano train station. The checkin was easy, the staff very friendly, the room was nice. The breakfast was really great, much better than the one we had in a much more expensive similar hotels in Tokyo.

- fabulous breakfast, huge choice and local products; attention though, you must be accustomed to the traditional Japanese breakfast, not so many western options
- the room was great, pretty big for Japanese standards; the hotel starts to show its age but it's well maintained

Breakfast was very good. The soba noodle and apple juice were surprisingly good. Room was small but it was clean. Checks all the boxes for travel. Idk why this hotel isn't rated higher.

We arrived yesterday from Niigata. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the station. There is a shrine right outside the hotel and while it the building is near two major roads, it's just enough away so it's not noisy. Of course there's lots of shops and restaurants nearby, a Chinese restaurant is even within the building.
Rooms are nice and big, bathtub long, just the toilets are a bit weird.

Really nice hotel. Room is not big, but very cozy and clean. The breakfast is decent and the view from the 16 floor restaurant is amazing. Wi-Fi is good. There are a lot of restaurants and shops near and if you walk 10 minutes there is a very beautiful temple.

Very good hotel. The room was clean. The best thing was the breakfast on the top floor, it's delicious and you can enjoy the city view.

Budget friendly yet still highend hotel in Nagano city. Great view from breakfast top floor.

Helpful English speaking staff, nice central location and a nice big bathtub in the bathroom. Had a pleasant stay, and would stay again.
