A large cemetery in the middle of Tokyo and it has several sections.

Very peaceful for a morning jog or walk. Especially beautiful during cherry blossom season.

If you are into the story of Hachiko the dog, the dog is buried here together with his owner.

Traditional cemetery with streets and many pathways through it.
It's very peaceful and It offers a different angle to see Tokyo.
The cemetery is described in my books from japanese authors, so if you have read one of them it would be even more valuable to spend half an hour in there.

A place where you can meet if you walk a little further after passing Aoyama from Shibuya. A place where the heart is at peace on warm sunshine even in winter. Aoyama Road is nice because the winter sunshine is nice and not too crowded. Minami Aoyama is calmer and better. A place where life meets death under warm winter sunshine. I get mesmerized for a moment on the bench in the cemetery. It is warm and quiet.

A lovely place to visit for cherry blossom sight seeing and a look at Japanese cemetery. Altough it might sounds a bit weird to stroll around a cemetery but it is an interesting place to visit as long as you respect the surroundings. And it is not too crowded compared to other cherry blossom places.

Suggest a walk and perspective on Tokyo, and Japan, in this cemetery. Most graves well kept, but some not, and it depends on family visits I guess. Many graves are very old, the cherry or other trees too. It is not small. Literally small public streets inside where taxis or traffic enters. There is a foreigner section, and as recently as 2007 then Tokyo Governor Ishihara laid this stone. Foreigners help contribute to and build modern Japan. Various tombs, tell part of the tale.

It’s a cemetery where the owner of Hachiko and Hachiko was buried. In my opinion, it is best place to see the beauty of sakura bloosm.

Definitely one of the cooler places to see the cherry blossoms. Get there early during Golden hour for some great shops. The local restaurants were busy.

Very peaceful green place in the middle of busy Tokyo.

Great for walks, jogging and just to take a break from a mundane world.

Hachikō is buried here. Reunited with his owner at last.

Beautiful, peaceful place. I'm sure it would have been gorgeous with the cherry blossoms but unfortunately we just missed the season.

Beautiful cemetery, and I didn't feel scared when I pay a visit there. The staffs in there were very friendly, they even drawn me a map for finding Hachiko's and his master grave.

Even though the place might be scary but it has beautiful scenery eapecially on Sakura season and Momiji season. At night, there is light along the main street. A lot of person jogs accrosing this cemetry.
