Nice museum. Opens at 10 so perfect for an early morning visit.
We didn't care too much for all the drawings. But the roof top garden was nice.

Best experience and I was so glad that I visited here. From childhood, I just dreamed of visiting this world. I am really connected with the artwork of Hiroshi Fujimoto. Hiroshi Fujimoto is the creator of Doraemon. He is known as Fijiko.F. Fujio. All of his real art work are stored here. There are 3 floors and one open Gardner with a restaurant and souvenir shop. You are not allowed to take pictures inside of 1st and 2nd floors. The professor's real artwork and books, raw sketches everything is stored and displayed nicely. The cherry on the top is there is an English audiobook. So when I'm passing through each and every walkway and art piece, I'm listening to them and really feel connected to the professor's works. They give you a map where it was also written that no photography. I hope foreigner will respect their rules. I'm sure even without photography, you can enjoy the art if you are really into anime and Doraemon fan. They also give a free show of 15-minute episodes of Doraemon. One day trip is a good decision.

A great museum for those who are interested to understand Fujiko’s lifetime and his creation of the famous Doraemon from scratch.

The ticket also comes with a short film.

There’re also some amazing activities and outdoor areas for children to explore and enjoy.

A great place to visit for fans and families!

I have a great time here. I bought ticket in advance from Klook with only 1,000¥. Used QR code printed out and got a paper ticket for souvenir. Spent about 30 mins for visit the exhibition, enjoy the original art work and history, timeframe including Doraemon (they provide QR code web app for English version guideline) then walk arond reading area with special gachapon then saw a special short Doraemon film for the musium. After that I line up for the cafe, enjoy a special moment with Doraemon menu. Took a picture while walking outdoor and got some special suovenir. Fulfill your kid heart with a original doraemon. I spent around 3 hrs before my next schedule.

It was very beautiful. You can listen to the English audio guide. Everything is written in Japanese the movie was subtitled which is a blessing. Watched doraemon as a kid and it is very emotional and moving to be here.

If you love Doraemon, you definitely need to visit this place. The experience was worth the money. It was very informative and fun. There is a gift shop at the basement so you can buy souvenirs and present. Traveling there is also very easy, they have a city bus that comes every 15 minutes that all the staff were very friendly, especially the guard at their gate (he deserves a raise for doing the best he can to help the visitors) 😊

Good place to spend your 4-5 hours during leisure time, but it’s not baby friendly setup where stroller require to park soonest you enter the facilities.
Less crowds than expected and they do serve good foods.

If you love Doraemon comics, cartoon or films, it is the place you need to go. Booking the entrance via Loppi machine in Lawson convenient stores is the general way to get the tickets easily. Then just take the JR train to Noborito station and have the transit with the bus to museum directly.
The museum is not wide or spacious so that driving your cars is not recommended since it is hard to find the parking lots. Public transportation is the workable option for the tourists here.
No photo shooting is allowed indoors. However, there are lots of famous icons outdoors for photo taken. You can enjoy the imagination and the creative decoration with kids and understand the original concept of Doraemon here.
Since the museum is not big, it is more crowded in the afternoon. You may come here earlier in order to enjoy the interior facilities. Enjoy!

I'm not a Doraemon fan but I got fascinated on its history and on how the author came at his inspiration. The museum is small but elegantly put. They provide an interactive app to help you understand the history and materials.

I have lived in Canada, China and Singapore. Every county shows Doraemon on TV and everyone knows well. So if you like Doraemon and Fujiko F Fujio works, you must visit here.

We can only buy tickets in Lawson, convenience store.
We have to buy a ticket before visiting this museum, please take note. This is because the museum would like to control visitors number precisely. When you buy a ticket, you need to designate the time that you will visit.

Here is little bit far from the nearest station.
You can use buses from "Noborito" Station.

At the entrance, check audio guide QR code, which has several languages (Japanese, English..etc).

There are a lot of works in the museum.
I love statue of "Handsome Gian", which we can see in one episode of comics.

I spent 4 hours in this museum ( Three hours wondering, One hour lunch time). Secure your time enough and visit here!

I visited the Fujiko F. Fujio Museum and it was an amazing experience. The museum records the life of Hiroshi Fujimoto and his creations. It starts with telling the story of the creation of Doraemon and then going through the life of Hiroshi Fujimoto.

The museum provides free audio guide which can be accessed using mobile and the museum’s free WIFI. Please remember to use it as it enhances the whole experience.

After completing the exhibition area, don’t forget to watch the museum's exclusive Doraemon short movie. The queue is located right next to the area with the model house of Nobita.

If you feel hungry, there is a restaurant on the top floor of the museum. During my last visit, the queue was so long that there were at least 50+ visitors in front of me.

Overall, as a fan of Doraemon, it was a very enjoyable visit.

Here are some additional tips for tourists visiting this museum:
1. Please note that it is prohibited to take photos in the exhibition area.
2. Please be aware that they don’t sell tickets onsite. You can only purchase tickets in LAWSON throughout Japan or through other online channels.

If you love Doraemon and/or you were at Lawson and couldn't book Ghibli Museum and saw this instead. You have to buy tickets at Lawson, no tickets available at the door.

Is a great meseum if you watched Doraemon, if you haven't, I think you will find it boring, but if you have (like me), you will probably enjoy it.
