Tokyo Metropolitan Central Library

I like that it's inside a park, making the walk there so peaceful and relaxing. It has a decent amount of English books on the first floor. The cafeteria on the 5th floor has a nice view facing Tokyo Tower 🗼The only complain would be it opens quite late in the morning (10 am). Other than that, I had an absolutely wonderful experience ☺

TOKYO metropolitan central library. The library also has books and newspapers in many languages. Foreign language books are on the first floor, representative Japanese manga are on the third floor, and Tokyo Tower can be seen from the cafeteria on the fifth floor. Free spot for anyone.

One of the best libraries in Tokyo metropolis. A large variety of books and best helpful staff. The library is inside Arisugawa Park, making reading & learning even more fun. There is a car park on the premises of the library, and also a bicycle stand. The library also has a reasonable collection of books in English language, in addition to millions of books in Japanese. The closest train station is Hiroo on Hibiya Line.

English friendly, free Wi-Fi, lots of reading spots, and great section on learning Japanese.

Giant and well stocked library. Newspapers from all over the world, research room, group study room, and countless individual reading spaces.
Cafeteria on 5F must provide the cheapest meals in all posh Hiro'o

Free library with WiFi, many seats and 5 floors, also cafeteria & cafe, vending machines (ice cream even!), many charging outlets, and in a big park, it's an amazing library!

Are there also any Mangas in the library?😊

Almost covers all the books I want to read for now.Dinning is not very satisfactory but OK for me.Quiet and convenient.Enough seats for everyone.

東京メトロ広尾駅が最寄りです。有栖川記念公園の中にあります。
外観は大学のキャンパスのように大きな建物です。中に入場する際は、入館証を必ず首に下げることがルールとなっています。館内は5Fまであり、エレベーターでの移動もできます。過去の新聞の閲覧も可能です。ほぼ各階には学習できるスペースもあり、Wi-Fiも完備されています。パソコンの利用も困ることはありません。
5Fではカフェ食堂もあるので、お腹が空いたときは外出せずに済ませることができる上、公園の眺めを一望することができます。

登り坂、階段なので若干疲れます

個人の貸出はしていませんが、
居心地最高の図書館でした

1階のカフェは営業時間短いですが、空いていて、景色も良いです

パソコンスペース、読書、調べ物スペースも多彩。平日はまず座れないことはないと思います。雑誌も充実してますね！

間違いなく開架式図書館では日本一の図書館である。コレクションの豊富さが群を抜いて素晴らしい。土地柄外国の新聞、書籍も充実している。静かで落ち着いて本が読める。大きな窓で閉塞感がない。時々長期間工事で閉鎖するがそのたびに取り壊されないか心配するが、今までの作りはそのままで安心しました。50年以上たっているので老朽化は心配ですがいろいろと思い出の詰まった図書館です。どうぞ東京都はこの貴重な施設を長続きさせてください。
