Fukutomi Dental Office

Likely the best dental experience I've ever had. Kind English-speaking staff, modern setting, doctor explained everything on a screen, did X-rays. The hygienist was thorough and very kind. Great price with insurance. If you are a foreigner in Tokyo, coming here is a must.

Amazing! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! I felt at ease and well taken care of the whole time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a wonderful dentist particularly for non-Japanese speakers.

My experience at this dental office was great due to many reasons beyond the convenient location. It’s close to my home and I appreciate that Dr. Fukutomi speaks English fluently. I also like how clean and quiet the dental office is. The staff are all friendly and polite.

On the plus side, this office takes care of cleaning in one visit. The other dental office I used to go to, made me go two separate times (one day cleaning the bottom teeth and then two weeks later they would make me come back for the top teeth. So I appreciate that this dental office cleans both top and bottom in one sitting and accepts the Japanese health insurance to cover it!

Satisfied with the teeth cleaning service. The dentists in charge (forgot her name) but she did her best to fully clean my teeth. Will surely visit next time. Doctor Fukutomi is a nice guy!

After having awful experiences in two other dental clinics in Tokyo, I am so glad to have come across Fukutomi dental clinic. Not only does he speak fluent English but he treats you like a patient and not as a customer. He spends time listening to your concerns and questions and if there’s any treatment that isn’t covered by health insurance, you’ll be told beforehand and he gives you time to think about it. That is something I really appreciate about this clinic.

Dr. Fukutomi is incredibly kind and soft-spoken. He respects patients' time and their needs. The staff aren't as fluent in English as he is, but they're just as warm and welcoming. I've heard them interact with patients who can't speak Japanese, and they always make sure the patient understands despite the language barrier. If you're still not convinced, I used to live all the way out in Hachioji and traveled over an hour just to go here, and I still go despite the fact that I can speak Japanese now.

They are amazing. Super kind and professional, and speak perfect English. No one likes to go to the dentist but this one may make you change your mind!

生まれつき歯が2本なく、すきっ歯が目立っていたため、ダイレクトボンディングをして頂きました。カウンセリングの際は、ダイレクトボンディング以外に矯正で直す方法を教えてくださったり、お試しですきっ歯を埋められる施術？をして頂いて、アフターがとても分かりやすかったです。施術当日も丁寧に声掛け頂いて安心して受けることができました。
数年前から症例を見てやりたいと思っていたので、遂に出来てとても満足です。本当にありがとうございました。

丁寧かつ接しやすい案内です。
治療は目の前のスクリーンで歯の仕組みから勉強する感じなのでまず「分かりやすい」です。
例えば虫歯なら、自分が今どんな状況なのか把握しながら進められるので安心できるかと思います。
(意外とレントゲンじゃピンと来ない人もいると思うので)

完全予約制なので土壇場の利用は出来ないです。
ユーザーが多いのか、予約はリピーターでも1週間後からではないと取りづらいです。
激痛で緊急性のあった時、3日後とかで対応して下さった経験があります。

今まで通った歯医者さんの中で一番丁寧で優しいです。
先生だけじゃなくてクリーニングをしてくれる助手の方もとっても丁寧で、
患者に寄り添った治療をしてくれます。
歯医者さんは怖いイメージでしたが、皆さんとても優しいので、こちらの院に行く時は安心して迎えます。
親知らずの治療はできないので、口腔外科もやっている他の歯医者さんに行ったのですが、
フクトミさんの心遣いとどうしても比べてしまい、今後の通院はやっぱりフクトミさんにしようと思いました。

審美目的でいつもお世話になってます。

近所では詰め物の色がそろってなかったりすぐに劣化したり、段差がすぐにできてしまったりで満足してませんでした。カウセングも丁寧で技術もとても満足です
