Dr . KAKUKO Sports Clinic

This clinic is awesome. They have helped me tremendously with pelvic pain that has lasted for years. Everyone is polite and professional. The facilities are clean, modern and spacious, and the physical therapists I have worked with have always given very clear demonstrations of what to do at home, which I appreciate.

I always call them if I have to, and I have never encountered a problem when doing so. I do not speak Japanese, but a lot of the staff do. Those that don’t make their very best effort to communicate with you, which I am extremely grateful for.

Dr. Kakuko was very clear in showing me exactly what was wrong and what needed to be worked on. At no point did I feel rushed or dismissed.

If you’re in need of a physical therapist, give them a try. It’s very affordable if you have health insurance in Japan.

What a nice experience this was. I went there for a problem with my shoulder and I couldn't be more satisfied. This is how a clinic should be. Communication with the staff was easily done in English and everyone I met was attentive and very professional. I felt very satisfied that my needs were taken care of.
Dr. Kakuko, is truly a first rate doctor. She took the time to listen and explained all in clear concise terms to me.
I went to another clinic in Tokyo before with the same problem, where they took a X-Ray made a few movement tests and sent me home with a pack of shippu. Not with this clinic, Kakuko-san diagnosed correctly a shoulder impingement and a problem with the rotator cuff and instead of the shippu I got some 'homework' exercises to do, which were explained to me by the also very nice Physical Therapist before.
I am not giving empty compliments where they are not earned, but I would like to give you and the staff of Dr. Kakuko's sport clinic my compliments on their job performance. Everyone I spoke with smiled and treated me with respect. Thank you.

Excellent service! The staff were always super nice and they definitely know what they're doing! They taught me effective stretches/exercises to help deal with my bodily issues, and doing the routines on a regular basis took my pain away and allowed me to get back to my athletic practices.

長い間いくつかのトラブルで通っていて、かなり満足しています。2年間程度の間で肩や足首やその他の怪我のことでお世話になって、毎回丁寧に診察していただいて、治るまでに親切に対応してもらっています。
前に通ったクリニックより医者さんも親切ですので気軽に行けます。

中村格子先生は親切で率直なので頼りになる医師です。診察を受け力付けて頂くので帰りの気持ちは明るくなります！またリハビリ頑張って次の診察に悪くなっていないわよ、頑張っているのね。と言って下さるよう頑張ります!!

バレーボールによる肩の痛みを治療していただきました。1ヶ月のリハビリで痛み緩和を実感し、3ヶ月でほぼ痛みを感じなくなりました。今まで高額のスポーツ整体(3ヶ月18万円)で全く効果が無かっただけに、この度ちゃんと病院で受診してよかったと思っています。

This is a medical practice, not a miracle factory. Your injury, and the time you dedicate to rehab exercises has a huge impact on outcomes.

I’ve been through here for several sports related injuries; their strongest point is the dedicated and detailed oriented physical therapists they have on staff.

The progression is conservative compared to a foreigner run clinic, but they really do try to rebuild your bio mechanics from the most rudimentary building blocks.

以前から冷え性、O脚、血行不良など重ねて、困っています。整体も受けて見ましたが効果はイマイチでした。先生の動画と本を拝読した後に体調を改善するために診察することに決意しました。初診はお勧められた先生のメディカルカウンセリング27000円とメディカルワークアウト60分12960円となります。
先生はテレビで見たより綺麗な方です。診察中体の不具合と悩みなどもちゃんと聞いてくれて、すごく優しい先生です。何より医術も素晴らしいです。細かく筋肉の硬い部分と鍛えるべき部分、鍛え方のコツを丁寧に教えてくれました。自分で本を読みらながらやるより汗かくくらいずっときついでした。その分、ただ40分の診察でO脚が閉じれるようになりました。これで自分で続ければ直せる自信が湧きました。感動でした。
一点だけ不満を言わせて頂きます。
普通の流れだと先に姿勢測定、筋肉測定するのようですが、私の時は機械が問題があったので、先生の診察途中で一旦測定しに行きました。その時はメディカルワークアウトの担当者が丁寧に測定してくれました。だけど、個人的には運動選手の怪我や痛みなどではないのせいかもしれないですが、測定の内容を説明してくれた後にワークアウトの内容はほぼ先生と同じでした。すごくワークアウトすることもなかったです。逆にすごく時間を配慮していて、急いでるの対応にはちょっと不愉快でした。ワークアウトの途中一回先生が来てくれましたが、診察の流れが案内されたのと違うため、また話せると思って、聞きたいことを聞けませんでした。最後にスタッフさんに先生に確認したいと話しましたが、「多忙な方ということで、次回の診察でお願いします」と言われて、この対応には正直不満でした。確かに他の患者さんもいますが、患者さんに疑問のままで帰らせるのはどうかなと思いました。
ということで4星だけにします。
同じ悩みの方にはお勧めです！一度先生のご指導を受けるのは自己流より大変変わると思います。ただし、行く前にちゃんと質問を準備し、先生の答えもメモしましょう。ワークアウトは個人的に正直そこまで必要ではなかったです。
