Great place to visit if you’re into the car scene. Best times to visit is Fridays after working hours and then any time on the weekend. Great for car enthusiasts. One thing is, keep an eye out for the Daikoku parking area exits, because if you miss it you have to go all the way back around and pay the tolls twice!

Daikoku, What can I say! If you are a car lover this is a must when visiting Japan. I’ve always wanted to come here since the mid 2000’s and I was not disappointed. My wife and I came here on a Friday night with a friend that lives in Tokyo. Make sure you rent a car as it is located in Yokohama. You will not be able to just walk to this area since it’s off a major expressway. There is a Lawson convenience store so you can always grab a bite to eat but just be aware there are no alcohol to purchase as this is a truck/car rest area. You will see everything from JDM, GT-R, rare vehicles, exotics and meet a lot of cool/friendly car people. Had a blast and you will to. Make sure it’s on your itinerary when visiting Japan but be sure to respect the area as the police aren’t very lenient with noise levels.

If you live JDM then visit early evening but I think only Friday Saturday nights. Masses of awesome looking cars here. Food is half decent as well. Come early in the night because the police move everyone along after a while once it gets too full. Also came on Sunday morning and found a better variety of JDM, Euro, muscle, and supercars.

What an amazing experience. Saturday evening was a blast. Fascinating cars and great atmosphere. Was there between 7-8.30pm and after that the police broke up the meeting.

The famous Daikoku Parking Area did not let me down! I went with a buddy after it Tokyo auto salon around 10pm and by midnight there was a full lot of delicious JDM baddies. I would definitely recommend!

Yokohmas original car meet.. this is not a car show, and there is no drifting or burn outs its a chilled car meet.. cars come and go all evening.. loads of original old skool cars mixed up with modern.. if you're looking for a real car meet, this is it.. It's a rest point for drivers so has cafe and toilets etc... but u will be too busy taking photos and listening to the cars spooling up on the crazy arial ring roads that run around and over the car park.. the site is an open car park and not well lit!!! If u want to get good shots of the cars, bring some sort of tripod!!! Super low light in areas with bright spots over head, it makes for kool shots but hard to take full car shots better for close up detailed shots... I'm not a professional photographer by far. I just want to give u a heads up.... as you will want to fill ur memory card!!!!!
Everyone was super chilled the evening we went, very friendly was evan offered to sit in a few cars..
Enjoy JDM Crew 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵

Really nice place to see sports cars and japanese low riders. Go on sunday when its nice weather.

For tourist, be aware that taxi’s cant pick you up from here! If you’re stuck you have to go to the police station for help.

Its unique location and accessibility make it a popular meeting point for a diverse array of vehicles, ranging from classic cars to modern supercars. The atmosphere here is vibrant and friendly, allowing visitors to admire and discuss their shared passion for automobiles. Overall, it's a delightful place to spend an evening appreciating some truly incredible cars.

Pls keep in mind that you need a own car or you need to rent one. It’s around 30 minutes from Tokyo.

Petrol heads need to head here after 7 at least once to experience a truly eye opening car meet. Australia, America and most of the English speaking world have so much to learn from informal events like this in Japan.

If you want a Tokyo Drift experience come here!
Gorgeous and rare cars everywhere that you can't see in America. Our private driver that took us here and back to our hotel safely was Ivan Lucas, a Philipino from Chiba, Japan. You can find him on Facebook and ask for a quote. Hes very friendly and professional.

Great to see all the modified cars. Lots of cool builds on display. Everyone is respectful of the area! If you’re looking to make the trip and you aren’t from Japan, make sure you rent a car to see Daikoku PA as it’s a way out from the main city.

We arrived on Sunday evening at 9pm and were not disappointed! It’s hard to get there so best is to get to Namamugi station by KK line from tokyo and take a taxi from there and back. It cost us ¥3000 one way and we asked a taxi guy to wait for us there for 30min, which he was happy to, as getting taxi from there could be tricky.

Lots of cool cars from drift to supercars, everyone is polite and friendly. You will hear some engines but no music or drag racing, so it’s not like tokyo drift, but as close at it can get!

Feels like a 3-D Forza Horizon. Came here on a Tuesday night with a tour group and the meet was still going strong at 10:30pm. Search for "daikoku tours" to find a number of indy tour companies that offer round trip transportation from Tokyo.

Best experience of my life, I can’t even begin to express how incredible it was. If you’re into JDM this is a must do. Only downside is you need a car to get there and most taxis won’t go there so I recommend using get your guide and doing it with activity provider gt.

Amazing show for a regular Tuesday night! Lots of Subaru and a few crazy builds. No exotics but lots of nice people to talk cars with...no issues and the meet ended around 10 when the police shut it down. Lots of loud exhaust but no crazy driving ..

Make sure you rent a car to come here! Or have someone local with a car bring you. Always people outside the fences who tried following directions with public transport trying to get in!

But always a good show, great for seeing creative builds, and sometimes rare cars!

Visited the Saturday night car show, great cars and vibe. Showed up at 6pm, lot was full by 8 and the cops shut down the parking lot and show at 9pm and forced every car to leave the parking area. Food and convenience store located on site. Bathrooms and resting area. Was very comfortable with the family. If your planning on going to see a car meet show up at 6 and if it’s as busy as it got for us expect the cops around 9 before they force you off the lot. Was fun to see the cars arrive and leave at the end. Not much lighting at night so if you want some nice pics bring a good camera.

Hands down the best place in the world to see JDM cars. I visited here on a Friday night on the off chance something might be happening... The boys did not disappoint! It was an incredible sight to see. Ironically it has been somewhat taken over by a lot of western people though. I do wonder if the local Japanese enthusiasts have found somewhere else to meet.

Come around sunset time, you'll catch great pictures! Also it's usually more crowded during Weekends

A must see for anyone into cars that visits Japan. Went on a Saturday evening, it got shut down around 9 by police, this happens regularly on Saturday so make sure you arrive before then.

The more hardcore enthusiasts usually move on to Umihotaru PA after.
