Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse

Visiting for the Christmas Market, it was an extremely crowded area. I had a great time walking around, but it felt like 42nd street. I went during sunset, so I got to see the sky change colors and the lights turn on. It's beautiful for sure. Be patient with the crowds. Everyone is respectful of your space, so there is no need to push. There's an ice skating ring area. The shops inside the brick warehouses are nice. It's a bit expensive, but there's a huge variety if you're looking to buy your souvenirs there. At the top floor of the building, there's a balcony to chill outside with love seats.

Cool shops inside the warehouse. Great place to buy souvenirs and day to day items. The environment, both inside and outside, was also really pretty which makes for a great place for photos. There was also a food court inside which has a few options. However, the food is mediocre compared to the other options in Japan.

Charming Christmas market going on in December. Crowds are relatively controlled compared to the Tokyo Christmas Market, and the red brick warehouse plus coast gives it a nice backdrop.
Although still very crowded, the paved areas are easy to walk around compared to the muddy mess at the Tokyo Xmas market.
Food and drinks are quite expensive, but that is typical with these festive events, the main draw is the festive spirit and mood.
There is also an ice skating rink set up outdoors, it was delightful watching the ice skaters having a great time.

Lovely little boutique indoor market describes this place very well. Very quaint, with lots of little nic nacs for everyone. Lots of little eateries. Had a great time and spent a good few hours just wondering around the various stalls/shop spaces. You can then have a wonder outside along the pier and there is even a Pokélid nearby, if you like tracking these. Would recommend and would visit again.

Honestly very surprised of the variety of food and clothes and souvenirs from this place. They are of superb quality and also cater to a wide variety of audiences.

They organise events and carnivals nearby to give locals a different side of the world in their experience here, e.g. Oktoberfest

I think whoever visits Yokohama should visit Red Brick Warehouse because it is the origin of Yokohama. Not talking about the ground floor of shopping and restaurant, the 2nd and 3rd floors are more remarkable in term of artistic value and decoration. Highly recommend to take a seat in the balcony at night to experience the night view of Yokohama, which is absolutly chill and memorable.

Famous of it's red color against the blue sky and ocean, very picturesque. Really relaxing place to stroll around. If you're a BSD fan, you should come here to visit.

A good place for wandering, will have some special activities during the festival? A nice place to go through the air cabin for sure.

Yokohama Bay Area is a great place to walk about and enjoy. The red brick warehouse, the king and queen buildings, the bay bridge, Yamashita Park, and more...

Walked up and went inside. Lots of cute shops, great atmosphere, and tasty snacks sold outside. I had a matcha churro that was soooo good. If you go outside on the balcony there are amazing views of Yokohama and the ferris wheel.

Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse (Akarenga Soko in Japanese) constructed in 1905. Great architecture and interior design. Live place, great view, delicious food and gift selection.

Christmas Market bazaar with food stalls going on during year end season. Nice place to explore & take photos around the 3 warehouses

Unbelievably large range of shops full of unique gifts, cafes and restaurants across three floors in the two red brick warehouses. Frequently events on outside with even more market stalls & street-food. Absolute must visit for kanagawa tourists.

It’s a market inside the red brick house. I was there at 07 Oct 2023. There was a Oktoberfest event next to the read brick warehouse. Nice place to shopping and eat lunch inside

This place is very lively, live music, good food, beautiful view everything in there. Highly recommend for new tourist in Japan. ❣ 🇯🇵

Salute the creativity of Japanese citizens who turn historical buildings into attractive restaurant buildings. This place has an interesting view, especially from the balcony. The sea and city sides can be clearly seen. The place is clean. The food served is very varied, and delicious. Must try omurice here. For those who bring children, it is mandatory to cheer them up at the Disney Harvest Market, which although the price is a little expensive, but it suits the atmosphere given. Must-see places to go to Yokohama

Took a walk from Chinatown by the port and ended up on this place.

Spent a fair bit of time shopping and resting. It was worth the visit and definitely will be a happy memory I look back on.

We came here for the Christmas market but stayed longer and explored all of the shops. Very cool place!

Lots of nice shops. Why the wanted to have an entrance fee for the Christmas market I don't understand

Great to place to go in the weekend. The only downside is there are too crowded sometimes
