This is a very nice clinic, in a back street behind Zara near the main crossing at Meijijingumae station - very convenient. Dr. King is so nice and was genuinely concerned about my health and getting me back in shape. The nurse was also wonderful, and along with the great receptionists, it was a good experience all around. Everyone speaks English (Dr. King is fully bilingual). The clinic takes Japanese insurance. The clinic has mixed reviews on other sites that I don't understand. The form does give the impression that the doctor doesn't have too much time for each patient, but that all depends on how busy it is, I imagine. And it's really just good insurance for the doctor to not get caught up in patients' multiple problems if they have them. I definitely recommend this clinic, and when making an appointment, you can always ask if it's a busy time.

I went to the King Clinic for vaccinations in preparation for travel to Europe. I saw Dr. Terai. He explained in English all about the different options as they applied to me, and gave me good and detailed advice for the future. His explanations and advice are very helpful. Really an excellent doctor. I had read elsewhere that NHI does not usually pay for vaccines, so I took cash to pay, and from what I have seen online, prices were typical. I highly recommend The King Clinic to anyone needing a vaccination.

Great office to use for traveling and studying abroad in Tokyo. All of the staff is bilingual and the office is located just down the street from the main entrance to the Meiji Shrine! As for insurance, they do take prepaid authorizations from certain travel medical insurance companies, which makes them a good choice if you need medication! Dr. King is a very personable individual and takes the time to get to know his patients and their needs. I personally recommend them to any student, or individual staying within the greater Tokyo area!

I've gone here for years and always gotten excellent care from Dr. King. Twice, he correctly diagnosed health issues I was having that no other doctor had been able to figure out, and I was able to treat them successfully as a result. My kids have gotten all their childhood immunizations here, following the CDC schedule, and Dr. King has made sure they each have complete international vaccination records.

Dr. King is a great doctor and speaks English fluently. He’s the best doctor I’ve worked with in Tokyo. I recommend this place to everyone!

I have been seeing Dr. King for about 15 years. He has delivered excellent care for a variety of issues. The best point is he is bilingual and can explain treatments from both a Western and Japanese point of view.

The only downside is it is difficult to schedule appointments with him these days. Sometimes it takes a week.

The clinic was not open on a Thursday, despite what the website says.

The receptionist on the phone was friendly, but she recommended me another clinic (Nishi Azabu) which does not accept NHI and she didn't mention that.

以前、このクリニックで良い経験をしたのですが、今週ずっと電話をかけようとしても誰も出ません。電話に何か問題があるのでしょうか?

I went here this morning, already concerned with my condition. I arrived and politely asked if I could make an appointment. I was told there are too many reservations and was declined. The receptionist didn't bother to advice me on what to do and just wanted me to leave. I then asked if I wait here, how long will it take. She told me 30 minutes or so which is not bad at all (why didn't see tel me this earlier?). There was literally only 1 other guy in the entire clinic waiting.

Then I was told its a 18,000yen fee ON TOP of the actual appointment and medicine if I don't have insurance in Japan. I've been to other clinics before in Tokyo and NEVER heard of paying a 18,000 "consultation fee" for a common cold. Absolutely horrendous experience, I advise foreigners to stay away.
