Dandelion Chocolate, Factory & Cafe Kuramae

Good taste of chocolate. They made all of their menu in house. Bean from several places but roast in house. I got hot chocolate mixed with hojicha from Nakamura which came out so good. Also got cake from 3 kinds of bean from different places. Seating area are more on second floor. Usually have many customers are waiting to get into the store. I am lucky to visit on weekday afternoon, not so many people inside. Really good place to have a cup of hot chocolate and cake. Try it and you will love. Credit card are accepted. Staffs are helpful and English conversation are OK. Menu have English explanation too.

Wonderful cafe. It is a working chocolate shop where they are all very skillfully creating chocolate bars and other items. The staff was kind & helpful. I had the chef's tasting and it was very good. The whole place smells wonderfully of roasted chocolate. Next time I will return for the chocolate drink & brownies.

Fulfilling my bucket list as chocolate lover. Apparently this place is quite popular — need to queue for about 30 mins for take out, as it is not a quite stroller-friendly cafe. The cake and hot choco are good but a bit pricey. It has a small branch store located at Atre Kichijoji.

Amazing house hot chocolate, immaculate atmosphere and cozy aesthetic, and the smore was one of the best desserts I have ever had.
as a trained chef, I know how fussy things like these can be to make, so I was impressed. not too sweet, utterly delightful 🧡🧡

If you are a chocolate lover then you definitely have to go to Dandelion. Here, chocolate is crafted by experts and you can tell by the taste of it. Coffee is also really good. Cakes are a bit more pricey than in other regular cafes but it’s justified by their quality. Would definitely recommend the chocolate chips cookie and the brownie. Both work really well with a Cappuccino or an Americano. Hot chocolate comes in two versions and I guarantee it will taste different that any hot chocolate you’ve ever had ! Staff here is lovely and will help you choose between the variety of chocolate bars they offer. Few staff members speak english but they will always try their best to help you !

One of the best place to enjoy craft chocolate in Japan! We had single origin Dendelion bars in HK and was amazed! This cafe offers wide range of desserts and drink. Cannot miss for tourists!!

We came in this morning (about 10:45 am). Took few mins. to have a seat by ourseleves and then make an order with the staff.

You will like it very much if you love 🍫.

All staff were very friendly and helpful.

Its a great cafe and very nice staff. Eventhough I came before they open, there were already 12 people lining up in front of the shop. But the staff are very reliable and the line dismissed smoothly in few minutes after they open.

A nirvana for chocolate lover. You can smell chocolate right after the door swings opened. This place offers not only a normal hot and cold chocolate, but a variety of rare beverages made from cacao fruit, nibs. Try cacao nibs cold brew, cacao fruit juice or craft cacao beer

Good value, got the smore, kuramae hot chocolate - tasted of hojicha, and the European hot chocolate add a shot of coffee. Be careful, if it is popular so if there is a line you may be waiting out in the elements.

Lovely chocolate spot in very quiet area in front of the little park. I like this craft chocolate shop from SF and always wanted to try the cafe in Tokyo. Finally got to try the coffee and dessert there. This is definitely a go-to place for any chocolate lovers.

I had the s'mores and a cocoa nibs cold brew. The coffee was smooth and the dessert was just the right amount of sweet. I would go again.

Good chocolate from many origins.
I like chocolate drink that combine with so-called Hochicha.
It’s smoothly taste.
Inside the shop there are many seats and wide space that make me feel comfortable.
I will try desserts next time.

Excellent two-ingredient chocolate with unique flavors. Honestly, it's difficult to describe until you've tried it. You put the chocolate in your mouth, let it sit for a bit, and all types of flavors emerge. These range from fruity to nutty, creamy, earthen... All depends on where the cocoa beans were grown.

Their hot chocolate and desserts are also quite tasty and unique. I didn't try their coffee, but apparently they're pretty popular as well.

The environment is well designed and relaxing. Order on first floor, eat in first or second floor. Nearly all seating is upstairs though.

Lovely cafe and delicious cookies! Loved the vibes inside the cafe, staff is friendly and the drinks are amazing. I also highly recommend the chocolate chip cookies.

Small chocolate factory with seasonal ingredients from all over the world. The menu and chocolate bar seems expensive but look at the quality they serve. Cozy for hangout and they have the 2nd floor area. Prefer to take away? Just enjoy the beverages or cup of hot chocolate drink in the park in front of the store.

Trendy small-batch chocolate cafe. I enjoyed the Kuramae Hot Chocolate (exclusive to this outlet, has matcha in it) and the cocoa shortcake (new! with strawberries). Great place to relax over delicious desserts. Pricey but must-visit if you like chocolate.

One of the best hot chocolates I have had and I tried a lot.
Normally you get I beverage which is far to sweet, but at Dandelions you can enjoy the real deal. They import and process the cocoa beans in their manufacture and transform it into wonderful chocolate.
The people working there are really friendly but it is self-service, so the rating for service is not really accurate.
The location itself is designed very minalistic following japanese tradition.

Try it - if you are really interested in a fine hot chocolate you will not be disappointed.
