Hibiya Park Reviews

Tranquil area in the middle of the busy district at Hibiya. We see people from different parts of lives enjoying their day there. We were also lucky to see blooming cherry blossoms and magnolia that morning. Just that not every visitor is a law-abiding citizen. We saw an uncle who smoked at the entrance of the park when smoking was prohibited in the area. Perhaps more frequent patrolling is needed to preserve the beautiful space.

A very nice and peaceful park. I was there during Fall for the anniversary of the park.
The tree where beautiful and the event very well organised (food truck, shop, flower contest..). There is also a Tully's cafe in the south west side of the park and the metro station on the north east side.
When i came back in winter it was more quiet, and still beautiful despite the naked trees.

Nice park with childrens playground. Not the largest park but close to imperial palace and ginza. Good place to rest for an hour.

Beautiful well-maintained park in the middle of Tokyo city! As a local this is one of people’s favorite parks to visit. It has a beautiful lake, old bonsai trees, plenty of park benches, open spaces, etc. Visit and you’ll know!

Charming, beautiful park in the middle of Tokyo. Short stroll to the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower, Azabudai Hills etc. and surrounding areas.
The Cherry and Plum Blossoms were fantastic to see. There are plenty of Toilets, a Restaurant and a small Lake which is lovely to sit beside and watch the world go by.

When we visited Tokyo, we happen to stay at the far end of Ginza, and just beside is Hibiya. It was Sakura season. Ueno is the most famous park in Tokyo to see the Sakura trees. But since it was rainy that week, it was hard to find a sakura tree still in bloom. Google Maps recommended the Hibiya Park which is less than 300 meters from our hotel and we checked it out. Japan is known for nature and parks and Hibiya Park is one of the places to chill. There are good walk ways, park is well mainained, there’s serenity and quiet that it drowns out all the urban rush and noise. There’s a playground, benches, places for picnic, and it’s a good place to walk your dog. Good place for personal me-time and for meditation and recharge. The best thing is we found a Sakura tree with all its leaves still intact despite the rains 😍😊

Love the vibe here! The kids playground was huge and had a lot of "rides". They even have a flying fox! During Spring there was a band playing at the main stage and there was even food stalls. They had clean toilets nearby too.

Beautiful park in Tokyo. Wow. It’s great. We choose perfect weather also. I would definitely recommend to walk here for about an hour or so. It’s not a huge park. Although I really enjoyed it.

The park was a really pleasant surprise! There are a lot of flowers, a pond and it’s a nice respite from the busy city life!

I loved it. I visited here at the end of November, and the flowers are still being maintained unlike some of the other parks at this time of year. The real showstoppers in this park at this time of year are the yellowing ginkgo trees. It's surprising very quiet for being in the center of the most populous city in Japan. I noticed people go through the park in their business attire to go to and from work, probably to soak in the greenery before sitting in an office all day. If it helps you to capture your own great photos, I went on a Wednesday morning, so I'm not sure how the density is during the weekend.

A peaceful and beautiful forest park on the edge of Ginza district. Ponds, playgrounds for children, and beautiful landscaping. Cafes, too

Hibiya park is just opposite of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya. Autumn colours were splendid and there are lots of benches to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature in all season. Love to visit again in spring time.

Beautiful park in the center of the city, with a nice and calming atmosphere because of its Western and Japanese architecture.

Love the hammock pyramid thing. Tokyo parks are my favorite. They're actually pleasant and not full of trash and homeless people like back in 🇺🇲

A beautiful park close to Ginza. There are tennis courts, ponds, and even a 500 year old Ginko tree.

A beautiful, tranquil park in the heart of Tokyo. It's not very large, you could see everything within 30 minutes easily, or stretch it out to an hour or two by relaxing on the plentiful benches throughout.

This park is plenty! It covers a very large block, wonderful for walking a d listening to the birds, jogging, sitting for a quiet catch up or picnic.
Large amounts of tennis courts huge fountain, some history pieces to check out. You could easily spend 20 minutes as a quick walk through up to a few hours sitting down to soak it in.

A beautiful and historic park in a Tokyo. Hidden features to explore: A replica of the Liberty Bell, given to Japan by General MacArthur after WWII; A man-made "mountain," built from the excavations that were completed to make the lakes, and lovely hikes around the water features. Lots of flowers and plenty of things to see and enjoy in this large space.
