Navy Headquarters Underground Park

An emotional and sad place to visit. However, this is where you learn the history of how Okinawa was attacked.
It was a pity that the playground was under construction. My little boy would have enjoyed playing here.

Incredible collection. Must see for any history or WW2 buffs. This and the peace museum are definitely history highlights.

Astonishing piece of history. Everything is in both English and Japanese. The entry fee is cheap and the staff friendly.

An essential visit to understand the military history of the only mainland invasion of Japan in WW11 and the enormous loss of life suffered by both sides and the civilian population. Tunnels are easily accessible via well lit steps.

An interesting place to visit giving a different perspective of the war.

This place is quite unique in its history! You need to be strong enough not to cry! It’s emotionally touching and make you wonder why Wars? There should be no wars anywhere in the world!!!

Super fun park for kids. Lots of roller slides. Remember to bring a plastic mat for the kids so it's easier for them to slide down.

The park is great, but the slides could use some grease. The obstacle course climb up the hill is awesome.

Surreal to be there but a chilling cool place to visit
