Owl's Nest Cafe

The ladies who worked here were the absolute sweetest, and explained all about the owls. You had to buy yourself a drink with the entrance and you can buy food for the owls or hedgehogs by you don’t have to. I bought the owl food and they taught me the proper way to feed them/present them the food. There will be signs on some of the owls like resting (don’t touch), some that you can pet only and some that you can actually ask to hold.
If your looking for a place to interact with these incredible animals this is the place!

An amazing experience. I've never been to an owl cafe and I'm always weary of spaces like these for the sake of the animal. The staff is very friendly, and they love the birds. If the bird looks unhappy they will tell you to leave it alone. The rules are simple and the owls are healthy. Definitely worth your trip. In response to a lot of reviews saying it's not a well kept space you have to think about how many people own bigger owls in smaller spaces. I'm very impressed

Fantastic little find, a hidden gem for sure. One of the best experiences I've had! I would highly recommend. Not very busy, which have us loads of personal bonding time with the owls. All the owls were super friendly (even the large intimidating looking ones). Also, surprise! There's hedgehogs as well! For 1080 yen you get one hour, and a free drink. Their music choices create a great, calm atmosphere. By far the best part was Fah, one of the workers, who came over and talked to us about the individual owls and helped us hold them.

1000 yen gets you a whole hour to pet owls hold ONE owl and hold hedge hogs and one drink. They're so cute. Owls are available to purchase too. I love this place the owls are free to fly around so if you're afraid of birds this place is not for you.

Such an amazing place. Before entering, you have to pay (it's a little more on weekends)
The staff gives you all the instructions to meet the owls, and once you're in, you can take photos and even hold them yourself, but to do it, the assistant will help you.
There are also owl souvenirs to buy if you want, and also, there are hedgehogs, and you can hold them too!
The staff are very friendly and will try its best to understand you, since they're not English speakers

Nice owl café in Ueno that allows you to stay for about an hour and interact (touch, hold, feed and take photos) with owls and hedgehogs. Comes with a free drink. Feeding the animals is optional and comes with a small fee. Recommended!

Relaxed Atmosphere, you can touch feed and hold the owls (hold and feed is a small additional fee). They have cute hedgehogs too that you can just hold and they will snuggle in your palms and continue their slumber. Amazing experience prices 1500 on weekends 1000 on weekdays. Definitely OK as one drink is included and you can stay an hour, chill and get to know the animals. They have Vitae for every owl as well so you know who you are dealing with. Sometimes they fly around the room and be careful they might make a mess above you ;)

I was a bit concerned at first to go there since I have read reviews of other place where the owls where chained and didn’t look healthy.. This place had good reviews and therefore we decided to give it a try! Owls were healthy and free to fly, they get breaks and staff really care about them! Price is reasonable and the coffee shop itself is very clean and cute!

Super nice staff. They are super nice and look after there beloved owls. Al the owls can fly and walk around if they pleas to do sow. Some owls you are able to hold if a staff​ is helping you.

Came here around 620pm and nobody was here. They close at 7pm. Only costs ¥1000 and you get one drink from a coffee machine, get to hold one owl and get to pet any of the other ones that are available to be pet.

Great price, good drinks, friendly owls and hedgehogs. The hour flat price is much less pressure then the ones that charge per 10 minutes.

definitely worth it, great experience with the owls flying around freely. ( im a little startled by them as their wings expand A LOT and make noise when flying, if you are scared of birds, not a good place) i visited this place 2 years ago. owls are also avalible for purchase! they let you hold an owl too! (plus there are hedgehogs too <3) the staffs are soo friendly and you get to see a short video telling you the dos and donts before going inside the cafe. the drinks are so nice too! definitely recommended

The staff were all incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The owls were so cute!! Literally the softest things I’ve ever touched and they were obviously well cared for. The staff clearly loves them and takes pride in them. I had such a good time here and definitely recommend as an unique experience to have when in Tokyo.

Very friendly staff, accommodating and assistive. The cafe itself is very nice and cozy. The owls are very cute and given freedom to roam around the cafe freely. They are given ample food and space to fly in the room.

For a good price, you get free drinks, and also get to touch and carry owls. You can also take photos with the owls. There’s a bonus animal too inside. There’s some hedgehogs.

Very nice 1-hour encounter with owls at 1,000 yen with a drink provided. Some owls are happy to be held on hand although they poo quite a lot! Feeding is optional (500 yen extra).

Small establishment with 11 owls you can pet and feed. You're also always to hold 1 owl 1 time only. It's an extra 500 yen to feed them. The owls range from small (like the size of a guinea pig) to large (size of a small dog). Very cool experience

Definitely once in a lifetime experience. The owls are well behaved and the location in in the center of a shopping strip.

The employees knows their owls and are very attentive. Come on a weekday instead of weekend if you can as it isn't as busy
