Tokyo Midtown Clinic

I had a great experience at this clinic for a regular consultation. The staff were professional, polite, helpful, and spoke English. English-speaking doctors or a translator are available upon request. I didn’t come here for a health check-up so I’m unable to relate to some of the bad reviews, but as far as regular consultation goes I would highly recommend this clinic to foreign residents.

Conveniently located In Roppongi midtown, this clinic offers a wide range of medical services. The doctors, nurses and staff are very nice and helpful. English support is available and on the same floor there is also a pharmacy where staff speak English; which is also a plus. I have used this clinic for several years and was always impressed by the high standards and care from the staff.

Yeah I don’t know why there are so many one star reviews. This place is perfectly fine. The staff is helpful, accommodating, expedient and tries their best to speak English. I think many of the negative reviews should be directed at the bureaucratic Japanese healthcare system and the many rules and procedures this clinic and all others must abide by.

Not really sure why this place had negative reviews. As mentioned on a previous comment, this place is more than acceptable in Japan. Went there and got a pleasant reception with a nice welcome from nurses, doctors and employees.

Got several tests and all were executed the way they should be. The doctor gave meaningful advice and accurate diagnostic. He was able to speak a perfect English too. Had to wait a bit between tests, but this was more than expected since getting all the results took time and the place was crowded.

Overall, really satisfied with the service offered.

I had a consultation with the orthopedics doctor at this clinic regarding my wrist injury. I didn't have to wait for more than 10 minutes at any given point and all the staff I got to interact with were friendly. The doctor was also kind and explained to me properly the condition of my wrist and what I should do. The x-ray technician who did my x-ray was very warm and friendly and everyone I spoke with spoke English.

Went here for orthopedics. Got xrayed and had treatment on the same day. Very fast and they had an english staff and translator for the doctor. No stress and didn't pay more than the usual.

I feel like a lot of people leaving reviews here do not go to Japanese medical facilities often, this clinic actually provided one of the better experiences I have had in Japan in 11 years, the doctor who saw me did explain me everything about the medications, checkups such as MRI or CT can be done right away take 15 minutes meanwhile in any large hospital they'd make you wait 2-3 weeks, the waiting lines are also much shorter than in many clinics and hospitals. This isn't a medical university hospital though so only go here if you have common problems, otherwise the doctors may not be able to help you but they will refer you somewhere if needed. I must mention though that I spoke Japanese to doctors there, if you only speak English there probably will be misunderstandings.

Let me first start by saying this is one of the best clinics in town if you are looking for professional English speaking doctors. I live in Tokyo for the last 19yrs and it is rare to find medical centers that have English speaking nurses and doctors who can communicate to their patients effectively in English.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Went there for a health checkup and they were prompt, friendly, provided English support, and quite attentive. The clinic also looks quite nice. No complaints from me.

Not sure about the negative reviews. Service was quick, explanation kne English was great and I found out a I had a serious knee issue. So I recommend orthopaedics.

I always get a good treatment, whether as an emergency or not. The staff always speaks rather good English. The process is a bit slow but from what I experienced, it is the way it is being done in Japan.

Don’t understand the low reviews, I used to go there all the time, easy place for foreigners (at least one person speak English), doctors are ok, accept national health insurance.

I went to the gynecologist in the midtown clinic. Everyone was super friendly, they spoke English well and I didn't have to wait long at all, but you need an appointment.

I don't understand why the reviews are low stars.. it was brilliant. First of all, nice posh building , well organized. No need to wait almost perfect. Very kind staff and very clean .

Not sure about clinic services but the Executive Health Screening service is excellent. Been going for several years and they do a nice job and send you report in English.

Very friendly and helpful staff and doctors. Everyone speaks good English, which is so crucial for a foreigner.
