Shin-Ōkubo Station

This station now offers elevator access to and from the platforms! However, you must use two different very slow-moving elevators, located about 60 meters apart, just to move between the platforms and the entrance floor, so you’ll likely opt for the stairs unless you’re injured or carrying something very large or very heavy, etc.

Shin-okubo station has an entrance that is not too big but is always full of visitors every day. This station is very strategic because it is located very close to the shopping and restaurant center which is very busy in Shin-Okubo, especially at night.
This station is one of the closest stations to the big Shinjuku station. But be careful if it rains, the stairs can be very slippery and dangerous.

One of the famous station for foreigners because you can find alot of foreigner shops specially South Asian countries. You can buy the same products of your country in different stores in Shinokubo. I really like to visit Shinokubo twice a month.

A good number of South Asian (Bangladesh, India, Nepal) grocery stores and restaurants are available here. One of the busiest train station in Tokyo. Remains crowded most hours of the day.

I love this neighborhood, especially because you can get pretty much anything you need from Korea! The trains come pretty frequently and it is a small station compared to others, so no stress! One stop up from Shinjuku, which is the main hub!

Lots of bts merch to go around! I spent all day here and walked the street a few times!

Shin Okubo Station is very small, with no elevator or escalator at all. In Japan, people often see each other at the station, so the scenery in front of the station is always crowded and bustling, especially in small stations like this.
