We had a nice visit. They had an English translator help us get registered and checked in. Then we went to see the ENT doctor who spoke English. He was very kind and helpful.

My hospital stay at NTT Medical Centre Tokyo was exceptional. The staff was incredibly professional, attentive, and compassionate, making me feel comfortable and well-cared for throughout my stay. The facilities were modern and well-equipped, and the medical care I received was of the highest quality. From the moment I arrived until my discharge, I felt confident in the expertise and dedication of the healthcare team. NTT Medical Centre Tokyo truly exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of medical treatment.

Kana, one of the translators is such a sweetheart and super helpful. The hospital offers good services especially orthopedics and it’s no problem for foreigners to come here since they offer kind and helpful translator ladies for every step. Ask your clinic for a specialist referral. It’s a convenient location.

They have English translator who will help you end-to-end. Make sure to ask for translator on the help desk.

Once you are registered (and got the member card), you’ll get familiar with the system. they have self-register on general front desk & each ward, and self-payment. very convenient.

Doctor was professional & giving me options. He could solve problems which doctor in my home-country couldn’t.

The international team are fantastic, very professional and earnest. English supporting with registering was easy and completed within 30 minutes (if some documents are filled out prior). Appointments were available regularly and was all seen in a quick and timely manner. Highly recommend for medical treatment for any English speaker.

A great experience! Everything right about Japan; efficient, thorough, helpful and with phenomenal customer service. Most staff speak English and they have interpreters available, if needed, and they also have interpreter devices that work with the push of a button. I was an in-patient for five days, and is was an awesome experience. The food was surprisingly good. Japanese, of course, but very visually appealing. The hot food was hot and the cold food was cold.

A consultantation for foreigners costs 10000 JPY.
I got an appointment super fast via the request form from the website.
The English service was excellent.

I don’t have the words how to explain my gratitude to the hospital, it’s doctors and nurses.

Everyone is too much kind and pleasant.

Basically, Japanese people are kind but it’s my first time to visit such a hospital since it has been four years of living in Japan.

I just want to give them a big hand for their great services.

Let me explain some of the excellent point about them:
1.

Spectacular support yesterday. Snapped my Achilles tendon in the morning so require urgent surgery. Long day at the hospital but was able to get everything sorted incl. scans, tests, multiple consultations, briefing from anaesthetist, pharmacist, admissions etc, and surgery booked in for next week. English medical translation service was seamless, both in-person from the international dept and also via tablet link.

I’m from the UK and needed to visit this hospital as someone who doesn’t speak Japanese and or have any insurance. Upon entry I was introduced to my translator who guided me through the whole process. The doctors were friendly and the price was very fair.

Broke my leg on a hike and they sorted it out without any complications. Friendly staff with English support. Their international clinic has a general practitioner which is uncommon in Japan and super helpful for someone who does not know how to navigate the medical system.

I was admitted there for gall bladder stone removal, i was there for 3 nights. The Dr who attended me spoke very good English and explained to me everything very well . The evening before the operation they send a nurse to explain to me the next days procedure, but she brought along another one who could translate from Japanese to English. The nurses were very helpful and friendly especially the night nurse. One can choose between private word and general word, I chose general because I didn’t want to be lonely. A very nice clean hospital.

I went to NTT Gotanda for my daughters first set of vaccinations and had a very positive experience. Appointment was made (in English) by email through the international department and they booked the appointment for me with paediatrics. I e-mailed the international department on Monday and had an appointment for the Wednesday.

On the day we arrived 30 minutes in advance to complete registration. I was met upon arrival by an interpreter who guided me through the process and explained how check in worked for subsequent visits. She also translated the vaccine consent forms (which I hadn’t noticed I needed) and made sure I understood them.

The paediatrician was excellent and patiently answered all my questions through the interpreter; despite the appointment starting late because of the forms I missed.

NHI is accepted. All in all an excellent experience!

The Doctors and Nurses were so attentive, respectful and provided best in-class service to me. The facility was clean and everyone worked like a well-oiled machine.

Very big hospital with lots of departments.
But be aware that the first time you use, unless you have an introduction letter,you will need to register and get a card. This costs around 5000jpy.

Also it's usually crowded and there's a waiting time, so plan accordingly. Most departments take outpatients only in the morning. Check the Website before you go.

Had a medical emergency and was referred here by another clinic. Staff were able to help in English and the Dr. I saw (Dr. Hayashi) went above and beyond to make sure things were resolved. I would give six stars just for Dr. Hayashi's commitment if I could. Thank you.

Been going here for many years. Very welcoming staff, well prepared with English materials, highly professional medical staff. You’ll also appreciate the automation that makes the admin all very quick and efficient.
