Ikedayama Park

A hidden gem located in Shinagawa between Gotanda and Shirokanedai stations. It is very beautiful especially during autumn. The garden includes a lovely pond with colorful, large koi carp fish and turtles. It is indeed a great place to telax and commune with nature.

One of the best hidden parks in Tokyo - an oasis of peace, stillness, and natural beauty at the heart of the city.

Small but wonderful. This is the most perfect place I have come across for a quick rejuvenation. The park has a small waterfall that flows into a pond. The pond has fish and turtles. A small climb to a resting hut with great view. And a small sandpit for kids. There are plenty of flowers as well.

Now first flowers and new green momiji. Pound is full of koi-fishes. Small waterfall makes by his sound you feel calm. Koi jumping in the water. Variety of plants. All facilities are here.. and time to time you here music from the nearest school (playing games, singing... ). They planted newly a few trees of sakura! Thank you! Kids also enjoying their time here. You can park your bicycle in front of the main gate. No dogs in .. and drinks automat also here.

Guided here from the sign in front of Gotanda station, this place did not let me down. The garden is full of flora and fauna, where the seasonal flowers (like hydrangea) and fruit plants (like biwa) are the main highlight, which allow you to come here any time from April to October, and see the newer views every time.

In the middle of the garden lying a pond, where you can find a beautiful small stone bridge and lantern, Japanese style, and some Koi waiting for you to feed them (Don’t feed them! It’s prohibited). On the top of the hill found the hut and open space for relax and immerse yourself in the serene nature, despite being in the middle of Tokyo. You can find the toilet and tourist information on here. It also offers you a great view of the Shinagawa area.

Hidden gem in Gotanda where you do not need to travel very far out and immerse yourself with Mother Nature !

Tucked away in a wealthy neighborhood this little park is filled with beautiful trees & friendly koi. Worth the walk.

Incredible little hidden magical place!

Small but with a lot of the usual japanese garden elements. Very quiet place to enjoy nature in the middle of the city.

Edo period japanese garden for the Ikeda family and true hidden gem not listed on any major garden lists. I wonder how many more of these magnificent treasures are hidden around Tokyo.

2024年３月16日（土）の午後に訪れました。当日は品川区散策としてJR品川駅を起点に、①御殿山庭園、②品川神社、③戸越公園、④戸越八幡神社、⑤戸越銀座商店街、⑥池田山公園（東急池上線戸越銀座駅－五反田駅間は電車利用）の順に写真撮影をしながら巡り、JR品川駅に戻るウォーキングコースです。
ウォーキングコース最後となる池田山公園ですが、東急線五反田駅からスマホナビを頼りに約15分（850ｍ）ほどで到着です。
池田公園は、起伏に富んだ地形を生かし高台から池をのぞき見るような形に造られた池泉回遊式庭園で、1985年（昭和60年）に開園しています。
しながわ観光協会のHPでは、『霊峰富士山からの「気」が流れる龍脈上に位置し、園内の滝や池は浄化効果が高いと言われる等、近年はパワースポットとしても注目されています。』とのこと。
そう広くはない公園ですが、4月中旬からはつつじ、5月下旬からは花菖蒲、6月からは紫陽花、11月下旬からは紅葉と、四季を通して楽しむことができるようなので季節ごとに訪れてみるのもいいですね！

2023年12月1日紅葉を見にお昼と夜のライトアップと両方行きました！
西側の出入口から入りましたが、真っ赤に染まった見頃のモミジがお出迎えしてくれてとても綺麗でした♡
先週来た時は色づき始めでしたが1週間で見頃になっていました！
夜のライトアップは12月5日までのようですが、まだ緑色のモミジもあったのでもう少し楽しめるかもしれません。

階段をおりると池があり、夜は風が吹いていないと鏡池のようになり水面に写る紅葉もまた綺麗で癒されました♡
お昼は鯉がたくさん泳いでいるのが見えました。

ベビーカーや車イスだとバリアフリーではないため、池のある所まで行くのは難しいかもしれません。
ただ西側の出入口から東側の出入口まではバリアフリーで、少し坂道で短い距離ですが、個人的にはそこをお散歩するだけでも気持ち良かったです。
所々にベンチも少しあったので、お昼はお弁当を食べていらっしゃる方や読書をした方もいらっしゃいました。

男女分かれているお手洗いやオムツ交換台もありました！
綺麗に整備されているのに無料で見れるのは本当にありがたいです。
平日だったからか昼夜共にあまり混んでおらずゆっくり愛でることができました♡

紅葉をみにいきました。五反田駅から歩きましたが、池田山というだけあり、アップダウンのある道でした。
紅葉の季節、夜はライトアップもしているようです。
静かな公園で、池周りは特にきれいに感じ、ゆっくり過ごすことができました。

素晴らしい紅葉がこぢんまりと楽しめる大名庭園です。これは驚くことに12月の景色で2023年は遅い紅葉でした。今年も楽しみです。

初めて訪問しました。
しっかりと手入れされた植栽がとても綺麗で風景に引き込まれます。

そんなに広くはありませんが、よく手入れされた植物が気持ちを和ませてくれます。今、6月の季節はあじさいに、くちなしの花が迎えてくれました。歩き疲れて東屋で休んでいると、都会の中にいることを忘れてしまいますね。
