A very beautiful restaurant. And the most important thing is, the croissant here is the best I’ve ever ate. The toast is good, too. I’ll be here again definitely.

Tourist here. I was here pre covid and really enjoyed my coffee here. Back again and it is just as nice. It can get very crowded. There is a bakery section and a bar/restaurant section. The baked goods look very good. We only tried the carrot cake. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Good food and coffee, friendly staffs. Can be busy during peak hour. Hard to get a seat.

Stopped in for lunch while passing through Shinagawa Station. There is a seating section for bakery customers and a separate cafe section. I ordered the falafel lunch plate and it was a perfect light meal (though a few more falafel and pita would have been nice, too). The only thing I found odd was that the falafel dish was listed as vegetarian, but the roasted veggies that came with the plate included bacon. Not a problem for me, but if you’re actually vegetarian I’d double check whatever you order to make sure there’s no surprise 🥓. It’s hard to come by good hummus in Japan, but theirs was delicious!

First time to visit this branch at Shinagawa station inside Atre mall. A nice cafe to have some baked goodies and hot latte while waiting for my friend. I had Irish Apple Latte, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie & Mixed Berry Scone. It all tastes good as always. The staff were attentive and can speak a little English.

Stopped by here for breakfast. Had the French toast with bacon. French toast was really on point. The coffee was great as well. As for the cospa, it was a bit pricey but worth it. The atmosphere was interesting as you get a great view of salary people on their way to their jobs

One of the best eggs benedict that I have ever had. Coffee was also good. And although the place was kind of crowded, the orders came on time. Highly recommend as a breakfast place.

Nice and relaxing place. They’re actually two places. One is a bakery, another is a bar/restaurant under one roof. Bakery is ok, but the bar is great. Relaxing ambience, good food, and not too expensive. They have one of the best French fries in Tokyo.

I was sick of getting the same boring bread from the hotel breakfast. This toast is just a perfection. Loved the rapees too, refreshing and crispy. Happy to visit again.

Great place to have breakfast if you are catching a train . The freshly baked breads and muffins are awesome and the coffee is good . Very busy but worth the stop

Very good cafe bakery and restaurant inside Shinagawa station.
As much bread as you want. Select your main dish, and a dressing (raspberry, lemon, miso ginger, or Italian).
Serving is salad, hummus, diced tomato, roasted carrot, roasted sweet potato, and the main dish - we chose fried fish with lemon dressing, and classic roasted chicken with miso ginger dressing.

This bakery was originally started in New York in 1990, and has actually managed to successfully reproduce that local New York atmosphere in Tokyo through both the quality of the foods on offer and the interior decor.

Unlike other bakeries in Tokyo that have been transplanted from abroad, The City Bakery sells items identical to those available back home, including adult-sized cookies and muffins.

In addition to items that are popular with New York customers like the pretzel croissants, hot chocolate, and pastries, you can also enjoy new menu items created after repeated trials for the bakery’s opening in Japan.

One of the better bakeries in Tokyo. Very western and familiar for those missing cornbread, scones or a more hearty croissant.

This is the only place in Japan I know that has cornbread it taste like something I would be able to get in Georgia or South Carolina in the US.
They also have a few favorites of mine such as big ol cookies (coconut, white chocolate, chocolate chip etc) & whole wheat croissants which are great from weekend breakfast.
