The bakery and cafe are separated by a flight of stairs, but you can buy breads from the bakery and have them over at the cafe, which is great!! Lots of locals are here to have their breakfast and chill.

The chowder bread bowl is a must try. It's creamy and delicious!

It opens early in the morning what is nice, as most of the coffee shops on Ginza opens at 9 or even later

Coffee is really good, it is medium roast from the other specialty coffee shop, and the breakfast plate is solid and tasty.

I love this bakery! They have a range of different types of bread and bakes that remind of the US style bakeries (its not everyday you can find a maple bacon muffin in Tokyo!) If you like US style bakes and food, then I definitely recommend it! I also adore their lunch options (their chicken salad 🥗 with cranberry dressing is divine!), as well as their cakes and Gumbo soup! ♥✨

A bit on the pricey side, but they offer really yummy breads! They also have a cafe area where we can eat in the bread we bought from their bakery. Highly recommend the pretzel croissant (their no 1 recommendation), lemon pie, & also bread bowl chowder!

First of all, it's great place to start the day they open early and you could have breakfast there. I have a lot of many to choose from as well as bakery products to take out.

The place has a wide variety of pastries and they are also very good. I visited in November so I got some of the pastries with seasonal ingredients like pumpkin - such a great choice. There is a discount on the drinks if you buy a particular pastry. The coffee is also good. I would love to visit again and I highly recommend The City Bakery! Thank you!

Expertly prepared eggs Benedict, with heavenly Hollandaise sauce. Friendly and efficient staff. Baked goods were very fresh and also extremely well prepared.

I ordered from the bakery and sat at the cafe. The croissant was good, with great textures, but a bit too hard to my taste. The Croque monsieur is great. And the latte is pretty damn good.

Counter service. Located on B2 of the Tokyu Plaza Ginza. Large fresh-made bread selection (significantly better than a lot of other local bread chains) along with lunch and dinner sets. Service is good, food is good. Clam Chowder Bread-Bowl was shockingly good. Perfect for running in and getting a snack, or for having a quick lunch. As is most places in Japan, the space is small and shared with numerous other cafes. Breads start around 300 yen, breakfast sets about 500 yen, lunches about 1000 yen. Can recommend.

Firstly omfg that burger was soooooo guuuuddd! Tasted fresh and flavourful! You could taste each component of the burger! Secondly the fries were a bit on the oily side but they were god damn delicious. Thin and crispy just the way I like them. Other than the oily fries I’d come back in a heart beat, if my google maps doesn’t lead me in the wrong direction again 🙄😵

Located in the basement of Tokyu Plaza, just at the exit of the subway, The City Bakery is definitely one of THE places to grab Western pastries in Tokyo. That little cube of brioche-croissant is everything (and then I tasted the scone-biscuit...)

Also highly recommend their cold chocolate, which is one of the best I’ve had in a long time (Maison du Chocolat used to make a similar one ages ago, in the summer).

Just writing this review has me drooling.

Great bakery. Everything is made fresh and is pretty cheap for the amount and quality you get. Delicious

This place was amazing good! They did have English translation of the bakery items but you have to come early morning to get the good stuff! We came 2 times around 9 and most of the items were empty sadly. We picked up 3 items and ordered their hot chocolate option. The hot chocolate was soo thick and rich on flavour!! Yumm! Bakeries in japan are ALL JUST an amazing an experience every single time! I wish I took pics but was too hungry lol. This location was inside a building, I believe B2. You can get your bakery items and go to the right side of the business to sit and eat and rider your warm drink. I have also noticed there is a tax for when you eat in and they charge you for plastic bags, as they should :)
