Delicious pastries and desserts kunafe.
The also tired the lamb mansaf which we found was bland but is a hit amongst the locals.

We liked their food (lamb meat with rice or green oaks). Next day we have enjoyed their sweets... tried 1 piece from each sweetie from their assortment.

I enjoy the desserts here.
And they accept credit card. It is a awesome part for foreigner travelers.

Clean, tasty, and cheap. Sounds incredible but it is real. We always follow written international guides when we choose a restaurant abroad (routard, lonely planet), and then we cross reference them with Google Maps. This was no exception. We visited in June 2019 during the Ramadan period. Amman was our last stop before taking the flight. Jabri has been one of the few food places in Jordan where we didn't have the usual belly cramps afterwards. It has 2 floors, the ground floor looks like your normal arabic pastry shop, but the magic starts when you go upstairs. Fully AC, excellent service from educated waiters. The menu is incredibly cheap if you compare to your average Jordanian restaurant, and the quality is excellent. Best Mansoof ever, lamb meat is super tender. They also have the local wheat grain preparation instead of rice. We had 2 lunches and a breakfast there. fried chicken wad good too. Their pastry selections knocked it out of the park. Make sure you have a slice from one of those round hot metal plate cooking at the entrance. Take the one with a cheese base. Incredible texture, disclaimer it's heavy, can be a full meal in itself but worth it. the pastry can be bought per weight, so they made us a travel box with an assortment of their pastries. We will visit again next time we're in Jordan

We bought back their sweets to Germany and they were just delicious and great. Great hospitality from the hosts and they even vacuum sealed the boxes for us.

Love it , ancient were I heard the owner used to be around checking on the tables back in the day , it is part of an empire from a family known for there food since hundred of years , delicious Arabic food in an fair layout , easy to accompany big groups, they have great ouzy and mansaf , the yogurt is amazing ask for kunafeh with cream {eshta} not with cheese, I believe it needs 15 minutes but it is totally grand and a visit to the dark side of the mouth and a swim in the realm of taste ، if you're in downtown Amman for a couple of days make sure to have a meal here, you can start by ordering one dich for two persons and take you're time to explore the menu ,

Delicious pastries ! We ate upstairs right after Ramadan fast break and the pastries were delicious, we even brought some to France and they were delicious !
