I am thrilled to share my overwhelmingly positive experience of studying Arabic at Jordan Language Academy. From start to finish, the entire process of learning the language was seamless and enjoyable.

The instructors at Jordan Language Academy were not only highly qualified and experienced, but they were also incredibly supportive and patient. Their teaching methods were tailored to my individual learning style, making the process of learning a new language much easier and more enjoyable than I had ever anticipated.

The curriculum was comprehensive and well-structured, covering all aspects of the Arabic language, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation. The teaching materials were of the highest quality, and the use of multimedia resources such as videos, audio recordings, and interactive exercises made the learning experience engaging and interactive.

The facilities at Jordan Language Academy were top-notch, providing a comfortable and conducive learning environment. The classrooms were spacious, well-lit, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including interactive whiteboards and audio systems.

I very much enjoyed my time at JLA. The intensive language course was exactly what I expected. Teachers were excellent and the class size was small, which is suitable for any language learner to fully practice the language. The staff were amazing and always helpful if needed. I definitely recommend JLA to anyone who wants to deepen and strengthen their Arabic.

I have worked with JLA for three summers as part of the Critical Language Scholarship in Jordan. This is a very demanding government scholarship that asks a lot of an institution and its instructors. I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They have made my life easy.

Not only are they consummate professionals, but they really care about students having a great experience in Jordan. They provide excellent instruction, and cultural opportunities such as excursions and clubs that work for every student. They have always responded to our feedback in a timely and professional way.

I greatly enjoyed my time at JLA, attending a one month, in person language intensive. The staff were professional and friendly, if I had any questions either before my course or during my stay in Jordan they were always more than happy to help. This included booking a trip to Petra, Wadi Rum and Aqaba. The class size was small and inclusive. The teachers were amazing, in all of the various classes (MSA, Levantine Dialect, and Media). They encouraged us to speak and practice writing without judgement, while helping improve my own language proficiency. I would recommend for Arabic students of all levels and hopefully, in the future I will be able to attend again.

I thoroughy enjoyed my time as a sudent at JLA. I spent a whole semester with them and everyday I had 3 hours of classes taught exclusively in Arabic; two hours of MSA and an hour of the Jordanian dialect. I noticed a big improvement in my language skills by the end of the course an cannot thank my teachers Suhair and Fatima enough! Classes were always interactive and class sizes were small which allowed us to practice our Arabic more. The satff at JLA were always extremely friendly and they really made the experience memorable.

While studying, I opted to live with a host family which I believe was the best decision. Everyday I would live and breathe in Arabic from morning to night which forced my spoken Arabic to improve. My host family were extremely welcoming and made me feel like a part of the family from day one. I experienced a different side to Jordan such as seeing how families live, and I met many people I otherwise would not have met through them. Not to mention, this also allowed me to try authentic Jordanian cuisine, as I ate like a local during my time here. My host parents always speak to me in Arabic and there have been many times I have been at family events and everyone is speaking in Arabic for hours. I cannot recommend living with a host family enough in terms of improving your language skills, My host family were kind enough to let me continue living with them until the end of my internship in August, meaning I spent a total of 7 months with my host family.

Following my sudies, I applied for an internship with JLA in order to conintue improving my Arabic thoughout the summer months. My internship allowed me to develop new skills which will look good on my CV and I used Arabic daily in a professional setting, which is invalubale experience for my career goals. The extra time I had really allowed my language to improve further and I am extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity.

I want to thank everyone at JLA for my experience epecially Dr Elham for offering me the intership which allowed me to extend my stay in Jordan.

Jordan Language Academy is an excellent place to learn Arabic. The teachers genuinely care and we have all learnt so much.

The classes are well organised as well as culture clubs and excursions, they are very willing to organise any trips you’d like and give advice for travelling around Jordan
