Odeon Theater

Excellently preserves Roman theatre. Entry cost is cheap and includes the very interesting Folk Museum. Climb to the top of the theatre and get a feeling of what it must have been like to see a play almost 2,000 years ago. It’s also very lively with families

I was surprised at how big and well kept this place is. It shows you how the Romans has an understanding of aquatics a design. Love this place and would recommend to anyone to come and see

One of the best preserved Roman Theatres in the World! The acoustics are phenomenal, still used for live concerts! fortunately, not so many people around! Behind a door, easily overlooked by tourists

Very great to host small musical events, I love it watched ton odell in august 2018 and it was blistering to watch ..loved every minute and usually the hosting team is very polite and organised and hospitable .. in all fairness it does feel eleveted especially when you're close to the stage ..but nevertheless it's quite the place with so many historical nostalgia .. the backstage is roomy and allows for multiple bands/musicians to sit comfortably waiting for their turn ..for sure would advice on hosting more events there.. but only when the weather is right.

Next to the Amman´s Roman Theatre, there is a rather simple building often overlooked by tourists. It is a smaller venue used for musical performances, poetry reading and council meetings, known as the odeon. Built in the 2nd century AD it held about 600 attendants. It would have been covered in its glory days, thus providing a cozier atmosphere than the huge theatre.

Today, the Odeon has been well restored, and provides a venue where locals gather for the late afternoon stroll. If you like reading or pausing to think, the odeon might provide a venue for that.
