Experience was perfect with Mohammed and Avis! we booked an economic manual car but they gave a higher class automatic car. It had some scratches and front bumper was a bit crashed but technically it was as new (about 85k km). They wanted to change car but we accepted it as it was. Drop off was in Aqaba and worked really smooth. After drop off, wrote to Mohammed on whatsapp and he released our deposit. Our car was empty fuel tank and we brought back similar. So all good, recommended.

Was easy to return at the airport. Mohammad Elias AL Nuaimi is who I dealt with and would recommend working with him. He even made sure everything was smooth when I dropped off at the airport. The guy works alone in the front office and handles it very well.

I rented a car here recently and drove around Jordan for a week with no problems. I was very happy with the exceptionally friendly service of the man in charge of the Avis office, Mohammad Elias AL Nuaimi. He not only went out of his way to help and communicate even during off hours about my upcoming rental, but invited me for the best coffee I'd had in Jordan while I was waiting at the office for the car. Highly recommended!

Excellent car. Got an upgrade for first two days then I decided to take it an extra 3 days for the extra charge. The man was very helpful. I did end up with a chip on windscreen but he allowed it to pass. If you do get any damage file a police report regardless of what it is. All in all very good

Had a really great experience with Avis, and Mohammad from Avis.
We called ahead twice to see what cars he had in stock, he answered both times, introduced himself and was professional. The process was quick, 15-20 minutes. We weren’t sure how long we would keep the car (5-7 days) so he suggested to start with 5 and pay extra if need be as he didn’t want us to muck around with refunds which I really appreciated. The car was a small hatchback and it was clean and perfect for our purpose. On returning the vehicle, I wasn’t sure where the drop off was so I called Mohammad on a Thursday afternoon and he answered and directed me to the car rental car park.

Btw - for anyone who isn’t sure, rental car return is in front of arrivals (Downstairs from departures) in front of the Sariyah bus stop - the same place you exit the airport from is also the drop off point for the rental cars.

The return procedure was super easy and quick - we allowed for 1.5 hours based of other people’s reviews, however because we had no issues, fines or extra charges, we were done in 5 mins.

All in all a really good experience!

Mohammad who manages this Avis Branch is absolutely phenomenal and more than willing to go the extra mile to support! I used this Avis numerous times and have referred friends to use this branch as well. They are timely in responding to any requests that you might have. My associate had looked the keys in the Avis Duster with the engine running at about 6:00AM Avis wasn't supposed to open until 09:00AM but Mr. Abdelqader had come into work early! he was in the Avis office prior to 06:00AM he came to out location and had the car opened in to time! I rented a car for long and short term at Sweifiah branch in Amman, with Mr Mohammad Elias Al Nuaimi, I had a very good experience. Mr Mohammad and his staff granted the best service. Car was always available also with short notice, new and clean. Mr Mohammed helps me also coordinating the picking and returning at different branches. Very good experience.

I’ve received great service from this Avis agency, specially the attendant Mohammad Al Nuaimi who is very practical. When I first rented I sent my license and ID by WhatsApp to save time and the car was ready when I arrived to the agency. I’ve rented from them about 5 times now!

We are very surprised by the negative reviews below, because our experiences with AVIS are completely different. After disappointing experiences with other rental companies we switched to AVIS. We have been renting from them for many years now, via our contact Mr. Muhammad Elias Al-Nuaimi from the Sweifiah branch. Muhammad Al-Nuaimi has consistently provided us with truly excellent service. He has always given us very good, reliable cars for a very reasonable price. Moreover, he does as promised, promptly addresses any questions or problems and anticipates our needs. There were never any attempts at charging unreasonable extras, we pay what we agreed on. The service he provides simply could not be better and we strongly recommend renting from him.

Everything went smoothly. Mohammad was very helpful. I recommend taking his WhatsApp number before you head out - this came very much in handy. Our car wouldn't turn on in the Wadi Rum parking lot. They were very responsive, made videos to help trouble shoot and responded quickly. In the end someone else helped us, but super effort from Avis. Also, they gave us a free vehicle upgrade. Also, if you book through expedia or an external site, call and check where to pick up the car. THe location on expedia was different from the actual pick up location in Sweifieh. Finally, I recommend the daily insurance over the deposit.. not really sure about the details there.

It is a good company and good option to to rent a car. Based on my experience with AVIS Jordan Swaifieh branch, I didn’t face issue with them, Many thanks to their employee whose name is Mohammed Al Nuaimi for his good attitude and honesty.

Avis is my ‘’go to’ car rental agency in Jordan both for short and long term rentals! They are professional and prompt when it comes to addressing requests and/or issues. I have dealt with Mohammed Elias Al Nuaimi at the Sweifieh branch several times from servicing the car, to answering questions and/or fixing any issues that come up. He is professional and pleasant to deal with. I recommend Avis. 👍
