This is a bakery that locals choose to get some sandwiches. They come and pick one from the freshly cooked bread and prepare their sandwich with the ingredients they want, eating it like a stand up breakfast or lunch with free tea. The staff was so kind and friendly, they prepared for us with oven baked eggs, cheese, tomatoes and some sauces. We didn’t have jd exchanged yet and it was not possible to pay with card but they said it is on us with such a generous attitude. We exchanged and paid for it anyway. It was 2jd for two sandwiches.

A popular bakery - constant stream of people coming in and out to make their own sandwich and everyone seems to know what to do, I.e., pick a freshly baked bread, add egg and cheese, a dash of hot sauce and sprinkle with some zaatar (thyme).

This is probably the oldest sesame bun كعك بسمسم bakery in Amman. Made fresh every hour or so. You can take your sesame bun كعكة, spread it with cheese or za'tar, or you can eat it with their special baked eggs. Super tasty

The whole secret is in the bread! Crespy outside, and fluffy and hot inside, filled with backed sesame seedsfrom outside.
You can also order bread, backed eggs! cheese, and falafel, and make your sandwich, on self-service table outside the bakery.
I can say it is one of the best-taste traditional arabian bread ( Kaa'K) in Jordan.

No seating, you go pick up the freshly baked bread and stuff it with baked shelled eggs ( khameem eggs) it’s similar to boiled eggs but oven cooked instead of water boiled) and there are choices of falafel and cheese. You add whatever you want to your sandwich and you pay for how eggs, pieces of cheese and falafel you used. Zaatar and red pepper paste are complementary. Sandwich costs one dinars at the most.

This 24 hours bakery gets swarmed by students and employees on their way to work, college, or school early in the morning. The process is clear, you walk towards the brick oven, grab a hot bread, move to the preparation table, peel a "baked egg" or two, add it to your freshly baked bread along with other ingredients such as Zaatar, cheese, hot sauce, salt and peppers, then move to the self-serve tea corner and get out of the bakery, eat your sandwich while standing infront of the busy bakery then recite your order to the cashier who would honor your words and charge you for what you claim.

Old bakery located on one of the main city entrances for taxies coming from neighbouring countries and trucks who are allowed to enter the city after midnight, while low staff being busy baking for next day, they came up with the idea of a small bar with the basic ingredients like tomatoes, Za’tar, cheese and eggs for an affordable sandwich that you prepare it for your self! Many reasons to like this place, it’s a local drivers meeting spot, simple ingredients with the same taste since ever, open 24 hours And cheap! I know this place since 20 years and have a lot of memories their specially with my grandpa who I used to accompany him to meet his truck drivers there and then buy more than 20 Ka’k for the family.

Very nice idea to prepare your sandwich by yourself, no need to be professional, fresh bread, grilled eggs , you can get a delicious dinner for less than JD dinar.
