Irie House restaurant and bar

We stopped by to get something for breakfast - worth it for a local experience. Unique flavors, vegetables well cooked and the fish seemed like a cod mixed with a “corn” something. There were local people there saying great stuff about the food. There were no fruit options available.

Asked someone on the street what their favorite local Jamaican restaurant was and they pointed us here. Glad they did! We tried the home style chicken and beef stew with rice and beans. Both were super delicious and about $12 USD.

Out of the stuff at 0930 but we still got food and it was sooo good, I got the baked beans and salt fish with sweet potato & he got the stewed chicken with sweet potato. It both came with greens 3750 for those 2 + 2 drinks

We asked Floyd the cab driver to take us to the best spot and the curry goat and ox tail were some of the best I've had. Floyd was definitely on point.

Everything was fresh and made to order! Great service. Delicious festival. Wings are scrumptious. Oxtails were yummy. The deck was spacious with a cool island breeze! I’ll be back soon!

Absolutely delicious, and so affordable! Currently they are 24 hours, with menu availability varying throughout the day. I walked here in the middle of the night after waking up with a hangover 😬 and had the BEST fried chicken of my life. Huge portion for the price, with heaping scoops of rice and peas on the side.

Irie House is one of the best restaurants I got food from in Jamaica. Everything from the warm greetings of the ladies in the front to the food itself it’s worth a visit to this little gem. I’m extremely picky and because I’m an excellent cook I’m critical of restaurant food. I ate there 3 times on my visit to Jamaica and was never disappointed. Their fried chicken is finger licking delicious. Their curry goat is well seasoned and yummy and their red peas soup is just so hearty and warm your soul. If you ever in the area you got to check out this amazing restaurant! One love to all the staff there.

Great little spot for some local food. Reasonably priced, and their open all night. I went at 4am after the club. We ordered fried chicken and oxtails. Delicious!

This tastes more Jamaican than most of the all inclusive nearby. I miss the food. The sauce is very tasty.
