Sea Miracle Villa

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Sea Miracle Villa in August and we loved it!

Duncan's Bay is a slice of real Jamaican paradise. It offers true Jamaican hospitality, a warm and wonderful sense of community, and a safe, clean, and fun environment mixing with the locals.

Sea Miracle is a quaint, beautiful villa near the sea that Caribbean dreams are made of, with a lazy garden hammock, and a romantic four-poster bamboo canopy master bed, to boot.

Our housekeeper Ms. Althea was a gem. She's a great cook, and was totally devoted to meeting our needs and keeping the villa clean and tidy at all times. Groceries were conveniently delivered to our door, for in-home dining a la Althea. The grocer, Mr. Chen, accepts card payments and bank transfers which made shopping super easy, and saved us a trip to the supermarket in the town.

Just around the bend was a colourful little fishing village, so culinary variety and the freshest food and drinks were just a scenic 3-minute stroll away.

Leroy's Bar is a popular watering hole serving up ice cold Red Stripe Beer on demand. Ms. Juliet's Restaurant and Bar had the best ackee and saltfish, fried dumplings, curry, escoveitch fish... you name it! She caters to the palates of the most discerning tourists and locals alike. And her rum punch is👌🏽.

The fishermen sailing in with the morning's fresh catch was the epitome of coastal/island living, attracting award-winning performances by the local pelican posse, and the sweetest most friendly family of neighbourhood dogs - all golden brown, all living their best life.

Reggae music is the soundtrack to life on Duncan's Bay Beach. It kept us rocking throughout the day, but wasn't too loud, especially when we were cozily tucked away in our air-conditioned bedrooms. However, if you're looking for pin-drop silence 24/7, the heartbeat of the Duncan's Bay area might not be ideal for you.

Soaking in the warm turquoise ocean and enjoying majestic sunset walks along the beach were our absolute favourite moments of our trip.

All in all, it was a wonderful getaway. We look forward to coming back with our kids and wider family. Thank you Team Sea Miracle!

My brother, myself and a few others stayed at Sea Miracle. It was exceptionally awesome. We had a lovely peaceful stay. My son enjoyed every minute of our stay. The beach is literally right there. We went to the beach, came back to the villa to be refreshed and back to the beach that's how close it was. The place is very spacious both inside and outside and very private. Also the amenities and kitchen is up to date. Not to mention our house keeper Althea she is the best. She also made some wonderful delicious meals. I would definitely recommend staying at Sea Miracle. Overall a wonderful experience.

My family of 5 had an amazing stay here at sea miracle villa! 2 adults and 3 kids ages 12,11,7. At no point did we feel unsafe, just a great local vibe! The amenities here are great, with 3 beds and 4 baths; there was so much space, the wifi was great for the kids. You are literally 200 feet from a great grassy park/ picnic area right on the beach. If you head to the left at the beach you'll run into some of the best soft white sandy beaches we've been on in Jamaica. We went to Leroys everyday we had them cook a Jamaican breakfast for us one morning and it was delicious! The town of Duncan is just up the road and you can find most things you need. We also had the house keeper Althea cook a Jamaica dinner for us, curried goat, so very good. We will be back here hopefully very soon. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Check in times are a bit weird given that check in is at 4pm and check out is 11am. But otherwise the place is large and well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Not so much in the way of kitchen knives though. They did have a water dispenser with 5 gallon bottles for use, which was a pleasant surprise. And a tray of ice in the freezer.

The rooms were nicely decorated with each having a personal bathroom. But there was a door that had termite concerns. There were air conditioners in each bedroom, but none in the living room/dining room/kitchen. The entire place was well lit with natural light.
There were ceiling fans with remote in each room. But it appears all of them were connected so if one was on (whether the fan or the light) then all of them were on. There were also power fluctuations throughout the time i was there, but I'm not sure if that was due to jps, or something else.

The place was also quite literally 3 mins walk from the beach which has picnic tables and a great beach to the left of it. But if you were expecting silence and beach waves at night. Then you'd be mistaken.

And last thing to note, try not to use Google maps to get to the place, it will literally tell you to turn right off a cliff into the bush. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there, would stay again, but hope their check in/out time were to change.
