Glistening Waters Restaurant and Marina

I was impressed with the upkeep of the building, inside and out. There was no signs of wear and tear as I have noticed in other hotels of this level. The restaurant was relaxing quite, presentable and organized. Food was very good. Low sodium is very important to my wife and I and none of the four meals we during the two days were high. I definitely would recommend this location.

We decided to visit Glistening Waters since it was relatively close to our stay at the Iberostar Rose Hall. I had a fabulous time, the colors are a bit muted compared to what you see in the pictures, but I would still recommend it to anyone within half an hour of the location. It was $25 and the boat captain lets you swim in the waters for about half an hour. Its pretty amazing to kick back in the water lighting up around you and see all the stars in the sky. Would I drive an hour here to do this again? Probably not. Half hour or less I probably would. All in all, a pleasant time.

The breakfast was excellent and I lost my bank card for like two days and they found it and returned it to me...awesome!!

From the planning, the private group pickup, the tour and the dinner, everything at Glistening Waters was amazing! We organized a Luminous Lagoon your for 18 people and everyone was super easy to work with and very attentive to our needs. Dinner after the tour was absolutely amazing, and the seafood was exactly what we needed on this trip!

100% would recommend. Accommodation is nice, the rooms are well kept and the facilities are very clean. The restaurant provides really good food at decent prices. The luminous lagoon tour is amazing and quite an interesting sight. The experience is great. Get there!

We orginally ordered to take away but by the time we sat and had a few drinks and vibed, once the food arrived we stayed to eat it.

I had steamed fish, others in the group got lobster, stewed pork and fried chicken. All I can say is once the food arrived there was no more conversation amongst the group 🤣😂😆.

Easily in my top 5 rated places I take people when I really wanna impress them. I went here on a church trip more than 20 years ago and I was hooked ever since. The service is always great and the staff is quite knowledgeable attentive and diligent in their service, but my last server (princess) truly made an impression, she went over and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our vist. The menu took me forever to decipher because everything sounds so good I wanted it all and the chef proves his point every single time. I will be back for any special occasion or just because. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

If you’re going on the luminous lagoon tour stay the night at the glistening Waters Hotel. You can go from the boat to your room and shower and change. Rooms are nice and clean. The restaurant is really good too. We were very impressed with the food. Steak and lobster was great and the steamed fish was amazing. We were at the grand Bahia and the food here was 10 times better the the Bahia

Great staff. Stayed at the hotel for 1 night as we traveled around the island. With the stay we received a 50% discount on the lagoon tour and a free breakfast. The staff recommended that we go out on the first tour at sunset. It was in incredible experience. 4 people in our party and 2 of us had no intention of swimming. That changed very quickly. The tour only had about 15 people. As soon as the first person went in the water the rest of us could not wait to get in. The dinoflagellates were extremely active. The blue was very bright and having your body sparkle as you came out of the water was incredible. I would definitely recommend this tour. This has been on my bucket list for 10years and I'm thankful I was able to experience it.

We didn't go to the restaurant due to a private function there but we took the lagoon tour. It was a great choice! Thoroughly enjoyed it and the captain of the boat was amazing! He kept the mood light and happy and was super knowledgeable.

Word of wisdom: wear a white bathing suit. It will glow super bright in the water. I happened to by chance and it turned out really well. BUT the silt in the water might make your swimsuit a bit dirty. So worth it!

I did not have the luxury of dining at the establishment, however we did take advantage of the glistening waters tour and it was amazing! The owners were very nice and pleasant, they have a nice dance show to entertain while you wait for your tour, and the bar serves pretty tasty drinks with an included rum punch when you book your tour! Jerry, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about this natural wonder if you have the opportunity the tour is a must!!

Didn't do much so I can't speak on everything. The bathrooms a bigger that usual. There's a small pool and a jacuzzi. Friendly staff. Awesome view. Sea is great as well. Stayed for for about 5 hours. It was great.

Would recommend to anyone!! Book this place 2 time in 2 weeks !!! The place is clean ,they had excellent customer service. The food was amazing and the location is stunning!! Would definitely go back in a heart beat.oh i forgot they had a pool too and a lake with boats

I was nervous not being a strong swimmer but the water is shallow and I wore a life vest and was just fine. The water was warm and inviting, clear night you could see for miles!!

This was an amazing experience. Although we did not eat at the restaurant, they still provided entertainment prior to our excursion. We also received a free drink included in the price. There is also free WiFi. The captain of the boat took safety very seriously but once we got to the safe zone, fun ensued. The water feels great, and isn't very deep at all. Maybe 5 feet at the deepest. The mud is really thick and feels surprisingly silky. But the glistening water is something that you will never forget. It's beautiful beyond description. I wish I could explain how it rolls off your hands and the illuminence is sparkling in the night. Beware of jellyfish. I was stung quite a few times but it was well worth it.
