I was so impressed with my room. I love the courteous and professional staff. They treated me like family and I loved being with them. I had a view of the mountains that I woke up to. The price was right on time. This was a Godsend. The location was perfect. I love this place ❤.

Our night at the Retreat Guest House was amazing! From the great views, to our beautiful room, we would return in a heart beat. We even received a homemade meal that was incredible! David and Joyce were great hosts and extremely hospitable! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!

The owner Ms. Joyce and son David are warm and friendly. She is also an excellent chef. The rooms have vaulted ceilings and are quite spacious. The surroundings offer a true retreat from a chaotic world, a place to relax and exhale. You are serenaded by the birds in the morning and delighted by the beautiful sunsets. We spent 1 week and it was conveniently located to a beach if you are a not a pool person like me. Overall I highly recommend!!!

As a guest for the first time I am definitely giving a 5-star rating.
We were running late for our checking-in but Joyce the owner was gracious enough to wait until we got there. During our checking-in, we discovered that the room we had paid for through Expedia was not the room we were getting. So after going back and forth with Expedia and not getting anywhere, Joyce communicated that not one of her guests who comes to her would be unhappy. So she made it possible that the room that we came in mind for is the one we would be getting. This guest house is truly amazing. Never seen anything so sparkling clean from the outside to the inside. The services were fantastic, from the food to the hospitality was truly an amazing experience. I certainly recommend this place to anyone who wants a place to stay that will make them feel like home away from home. I will definitely be staying there each time I return to Jamaica because she made our experience truly one to be remembered. Thank you again to the staff and the owner of retreat guest housing.

Wonderful stay. My expectations were surpassed at the beauty of this home, the spectacular view, spacious rooms, delicious meals, and mainly the gracious hostess Ms Joyce and her staff member Keno. They were both extremely helpful if there was anything we needed, But we didn't have to ask for anything because they had already thought of it all:) Eat as many meals there as you can. Ms Joyce is a gifted cook and serves authentic Jamaican meals. I do recommend going in the summer because the shower water remains refreshingly cool.

Was introduced to this guest house by a very good friend of mine, had the opportunity to stay there about 6 weeks ago. Had the most amazing stay. The house is clean and welcoming. I was made to feel very comfortable and relaxed. Ms. Joyce your food was finger licking and to die for 👏👏👏 and let's not forget King David loved your company and the wonderful juices you made at meal times

We found the Guesthouse to be a haven! A little away from Falmouth but worth the stay by a long run. We arrived and started our very very last-minute booking with a chuckle, as David and Joyce greeted us a little bit of surprise at our arrival but nonetheless with an open-armed welcome! We had the BEST cooked meals in Jamaica here....made with love, tasty and delicious and served with pizazz. We were impressed. We enjoyed chatting with David who was celebrating his birthday the day we arrived. We also liked the quiet of the place, and of the green surroundings, and the jaunt through their neighbourhood as we took a good walk from the Guesthouse down to the public beach of Falmouth. I would recommend a stay here if you are looking the sense you are a guest to their family, like good food, want quiet and are good with being away from the craziness of MoBay tourism.

Had a great get away. It was home away from home with elegance. Our room was clean, large very spacious and we were welcomed by everyone especially Marcia. She was friendly and very helpful.

One of the most beautiful views are the mountains and early morning bird watching is a plus. There is a pool and game room and several balconies to hang out from.
Private parking on site is available for free.
Ms Joyce made breakfast it was delicious ackee and saltfish with festivals and bread fruits and coffee were also provided in the beautiful dining area.
If you want to get away from the noisy extremely busy life great escape place. The family is wonderful and the rooms are clean and beautiful. Adequate signs are along the road to direct you to this location. 5mins drive you are at the beach,10-15 in the town of Falmouth.

This guest house is huge affordable and beautiful. The room that we stayed in had two beds ,a pull out couch ,a private balcony, a TV, and a ceiling fan. The bathroom consisted of a walk-in shower, a Jacuzzi a toilet ,and a bidet. The room also consist of a flat screen TV equipment cable and Wifi. The staff that works in the house are kind and helpful. The breakfast that was served was absolutely delicious. The house also has a pool in the backyard and and outdoor jacuzzi. A game room in the basement and a home gym and a bar. I would recommend this house 2 families, friends, couples ,anyone. This guest house will be able to accommodate you. Trust me when I say this guest house is simply Amazing!

Retreat Guesthouse is located 5 minutes from Burwood Beach in a lovely mountain setting. My stay there was peaceful and tranquil, such a pleasant change from crowded, noisy resorts. Ms. Joyce runs a tight ship, the home, which has 6 guestrooms, is tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. Each room has a private balcony with views of the lush mountains and the Falmouth and Port area. The meals, which are traditional Jamaican meals, were delicious. There is a pool on the property. The property is securely gated. Ms. Joyce and her staff attended to my every need while there. There is a community room with a treadmill, local phone, couch and TV. The home also has a game room and bar area downstairs with a pool table, cards, fooseball table and music. I enjoyed my stay there immensely and highly recommend it. If you want to be where the action is or prefer buffets, this is not the place for you. If you prefer peace and tranquility this is the perfect place, but still only a few minutes to all the local sights and the beach.

A wonderful and romantic place to get away from the tourist noise. Breath-taking view of the Falmouth harbor and a short walk to Burwood beach makes this bed and breakfast resort a retreat to remember. Be sure to have Ms Grant prepare some of her gourmet Jamaican dishes. She provided us with the best vegan dishes every time. We rented from Hertz and drove from Montego Bay airport in 35 minutes. This was a perfect place to explore the wonders of natural Jamaica. Stay a week and you will want to return. We did.

My wife and I had a great time here at Retreat Guest House. The employees here are friendly and very helpful. They made it felt like home. If I ever planned on visiting again I will definitely book here again.

My first day in Jamaica, they talks less but does a lot, clean and well maintained stay, was very reasonably priced. Loved the area and vibe, near port of Falmouth.

This is a hidden gem we discovered on Google Maps. Super clean, big beds and rooms, spacious shower, and a great view of Falmouth. The pool was perfect and the sunset was spectacular.

The views are amazing. A little far from the main road so make sure you have transportation. This was a great stay. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I stayed here for two nights, it felt like home away from home. The house keeper is kind and a great cook.
