This store has an exquisite collection of marble paper books, leather books, calligraphy pens and many more. I got an incredible manuscript from here!

Super cute shop in the Venice shopping district! For the handmade, high quality nature of the products I think the prices are very fair. I got two journals for around €50 which I’m more than happy with. They also sell a variety of journal sizes, designs, and other stationary products like pens. The attendant was extremely helpful and informative, she told us about every product we were interested in and had a very friendly and approachable attitude. In a district full of copycat products and high prices for lower quality materials, scriba stands out as a gem you must visit while you’re in the area. Don’t miss it!

Very welcoming staff at this beautiful little shop. They took the time to explain their wares, and obviously took pride in their shop. The kids loved all of the animal prints as well, and we bought a few of the hand-painted notebooks and bookmarks for our daughters.

An amazing place, with a talented and super welcoming shop owner. He kept telling us stories about the pens and the notebooks and showing us around. We got a notebook and he gave us a gift of a beautiful set of papers and envelopes.

I bought a beautiful leather-bound notebook for drawing and watercolor in this small lovely store filled with gorgeous glass and metal nib pens. If you like urban sketching, this is the store to buy ink, pens, paper. It also sells watercolor paintings by local artists - some of the best I’ve seen in Venice. If I had more space in my suitcase, I would have bought a few. The owner is friendly and helpful. I will come to this store next time in Venice.

This shop is a must-see little store in the small streets of Venice. We stopped in after wandering the streets after dinner one night, and discovered a beautiful selections of notebooks and accessories, and fantastic staff. I purchased a medium-size notebook cover, so I could fill the inserted notebooks and swap them out for years to come. Fast forward a few months, and Giuseppe was incredibly helpful via email helping me order the notebook inserts, and even a smaller version of the notebook I had. I got my order in the US in less than a week from my original email. I highlight recommend making Scriba a stop on your Venice trip, it’s a beautiful store and one of my favorite souvenirs of my time in Italy, I use it every day.

A very classy, elegant store. The sales team was very knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. They had beautiful paintings, leather note books, as well as calligraphy sets, Venetian glass, and wax stamp sets.

Nice place for people who love to write. Host Gulia love her job and all the items in the shop. There is a lot of beautiful seals, and writing sets notebooks with leather cover. Recommend

Scriba is a great place. We enjoyed the beautiful products (lovely stationery, handmade notebooks with artful leather and paper covers, wide range of classic and glass fountain pens) and the friendly staff who took the time to give detailed advice. We forgot half of our purchases on the counter and Scriba was so kind to send the articles to our home address – great and uncomplicated service, highly appreciated 😊

This is my favourite store in Venice and if you like beautiful, artisan made goods of quality, it will become yours too. Love their pens and inks, beautiful leather notebooks... It's a pity we don't have a store like this in my hometown 😁

We had a wonderful experience visiting the store, Scriba last evening in Venice. We just happened to wonder in and Guilie was so kind, welcoming, informative and enthusiastic. If it were not for her, we likely would not have stayed for so long, not have bought as many items (ha ha) and not had such an enchanting experience. It's a beautiful, unique shop of high quality pieces made of craftsmanship. If you seek an item which has character, perhaps a gift, for someone who is artistic, or scholarly, this would be a perfect stop. Even the wrapping are elegantly done. Bravo!

I got a small plain marble book, the workers were great and gave good explanations, I'd recommend this shop.

I was just there for my birthday in December. J have been to Venice twice and each trip bought an original watercolor painting. This trip I met the owner, Giuseppe, and had a wonderful conversation about art!! I bought one more painting. The next day I went back and he remembered my name!! I bought another painting and a leather journal. He told me how he makes them by hand, with hand pressed paper!! Truly an artist! I had him sign my journal!! Giuseppe is a great guy and I truly enjoyed our talks! A must for anyone who appreciates the arts.

Fantastic and lovely store in the heart of Venice… The staff is very kind and nice and smiling, caring. There is no better place to get your beloved ones beautiful and original hand made gifts as leather notebooks, agendas, pens, hand made historical objects, souveniers, bookmarks etc. with the original venice art. I really enjoyed the chat with staff and the gifts i bought in good prices. You should’nt leave Venice without visiting this amazing store! Thank you for everything!

Just a gem of a stationery shop with the nicest staff. I visited in high summer 2021 wanting a diary for 2022. They weren't yet printed but when they were a couple of months later the very kind owner sent me photos, I chose one and he had it shipped to me. 5* service.

Really nice and amicable people! The owner and the staff lady was awesome. The place looked great and everything is made in Italy and responsibly sourced. Prices are what you can expect in Venice. Bought myself a little leather journal and got a bookmark!

There are many shops selling pens or notebooks in Venice but this one was the most beautiful one with the nicest service! We bought a glass pen and several notebooks and can definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a unique gift idea in Venice!
