My wife and I came here the last night of our honeymoon off of a recommendation from our Gondalera Alex. We came in with no expectations, yet we're blown away. If you're looking for authentic Venetian cuisine with modern flair, this is the place for you. From the appetizers, to the entrees, to the dessert everything was fantastic. Most of all, the servers and staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable about the menu. We couldn't recommend this place enough. 5 stars.

What a dinner! Amazing meals linked to the tradition but transformed in something more modern and persuasive. Fresh ingredients, great wines and super lovely staff. We had our dinner outside, near the stairs, during a windy summer night and it was absolutely stunning! Prices are absolutely aligned with the menu proposed and the venue. Get your reservation people, it’s really worth it!

Amazing food and amazing staff!
The unique food definitely stood out during our time in Venice. We got the four fish starter, rabbit ravioli, slow cook duck breast and for dessert the trio of chocolate and blue cheese vanilla ice cream. To die for!

My favorite restaurant in the world! The unique spin on classic dishes you can find here are divine! It is family run and I think everything on the menus is worth a try. I was only in Venice for a weekend and I had to eat here more than once, even though food in Venice was delicious everywhere we went. Yum!

Absolutely delicious dinner in a small piazza close to the canals. You can enjoy a wonderful view and very good dishes. It's on a less touristy area but definitely worth getting there as the restaurant really cares about the creative and quality side.
Definitely try their tiramisu and biscotti with crema which are simply amazing.

Fabulous place just off the grand canal and on the other side of train station. Food and wine is fantastic without being overpriced. This isn't a touristy place but authentic Venetian restaurant offering pizza, pasta, antipasti amongst other local dishes and wine. Visit this to experience local cuisine and authentic taste.

Amazing meal!! Really great atmosphere and the food is outstanding. The spring rolls are awesome. Enjoyed the Gnocchi. Service was outstanding as well.

Great Venetian ingredients reinvented in creative ways. A good first impression of this country's rich culinary reputation. The menu stands out from the cookie cutter tourist menus found all over the island.
They've got a nice dining room with open kitchen, giving view on the professional chefs working their art. Otherwise, the restaurant offers a fantastic outdoor terrasse by the Grand Canal.
I recommend the "cappucino" al nero di seppia with a lightly chilled bottle of Refosco. The group was very impressed. Prices are fair for the quality.
Elisabetta and her staff are very kind and attentive. My first stop on every Italian culinary trip. My groups always love it!

3rd generation family restaurant. Authentic food, with a modern, fun twist. We experienced a modern Venice, which was historical, fun and pleasantly surprising. We cannot wait to return and looking forward to try their other family restaurant on Burano Island as recommended by our host.

Different menu to most in Venice. I would describe it as Venetian Thai fusion with the emphasis on the Venetian.

I loved it! I ate over there the best pizza in my life, next day I went again but this time I ordered coffee and tiramisu beside pizza, I have no words to say how good that tiramisu was and I have to say that I am a very picky person. A very tasty coffee as well!

Vittoria dal 1938 is an amazing artistic jewel just off the Grand Canal. We wanted to duck in for a quick bite as we had a late big lunch but ended up with a very satisfying experience. Extremely welcoming wait staff!! Matilda was happy to have me try out various wines till we found one that suited our taste. Chef Nikolo has created a menu full of surprises. A handmade crisp made of squid ink and topped with a concoction of anchovy and sardine paste that is incredible. The ravioli with bits of beef tongue was good but the sauce and puree he used was highly complimentary. His desert menu is a fusion of traditional Italian and tastes from the East. Mango sorbet and coriander chutneys create interesting flavor combinations that do not overpower. I highly recommend trying out Vittoria if you are in the mood for a different trattoria fare. BTW they have a great selection of music which is a nice mood setter as well.
