We stopped for lunch here, and the food is excellent. The best meal we had in Venice. Super fresh and authentic. They altered a dish for me as I am vegetarian and asked for a recommendation, it was super tasty.
Very friendly service. Not the fanciest place but we enjoyed it more than a 5* hotel restaurant we went to the night before.

We went for a nice lunch and we got it.
The girl has been super nice and she let us try also the famous cicchetti veneziani that you can only taste at the standing table.
The atmosphere is so familiar and the main dishes were really good.

The food was amazing. This was our 8th day in Italy, meaning we had pasta/spaghetti many times recently to compare to. The clam pasta and the pesto paste were really yummy. They both taste delicious. I also had a dish of scallops, which tasted good.
Despite many review said the restaurant busy, but I didn't find it busy. There were plenty of tables on Thursday night in the middle of March.
The price is high though, but I guess it is ok since the food tasted delicious. It is once (maybe twice) a lifetime experience for us, so the price wasn't an issue as long as the food taste good.
Overall, I think it is worthwhile to try. I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent, fresh, local food in an authentic atmosphere. The crudo di pesce and tiramisu were some of the best I had in Venice. Service was super nice too. I went twice and will come back!

A local guy recommended this place to us to try out Venetian cicchetti (I memorized it as similar to tapas). And it was a great experience! We had several dishes that were available and loved them. Sardines fried and marinated, squid, tuna, salami after cold prosecco made our lunch quite unique. Laura is a true soul of the place, always positive, quick and efficient. The desert cake with espresso was delicious. Highly recommended!

We ended up here on a whim but had a lovely time! For lunch we got the squid ink pasta and fish soup. The portions were generous and staff was friendly. Every place in Venice is pricey so don't be too surprised. I will recommend this place again!

We did an 8 day tour of Northern Italy and we both agree the pizza we had here was the best food we had on the trip.

Had a great first meal in Venice. Food was excellent, the servings were perfectly acceptable. The ingedients fresh, wine great, and flavors wonderful. I especially liked the seafood pasta. Lots of great shellfish and homemade pasta as well.

Brilliant service, very understanding of my attempts at Italian and having a young baby. Lovely food - above average for Venice whilst not being above average in price!

The food here is great - make sure to get the seafood risotto, and some cicchetti (order the baccala at least). Service is pleasant, friendly and smiling.

My wife and I really enjoyed the foods specialist local Venetians. The atmosphere and the service were splendid needless to say!

Had a good experience! Sparkling wine and seafood platter were decently priced for such a central location and seating typical of a bacaro so expect to stand. But overall a good experience! Cheers!

Only stopped here for a quick snack while touring Venice but absolutely loved the crostini di baccalà and calamari!

Had a Wonderful dinner here with a nice bottle of wine and even some black cuttlefish spaghetti! All food was great and the desert was perfect too!

We dined at the restaurant part and is family owned and served by one of the owners family Ella. Calamari was light-crisp and all food was excellent! My wife had the spaghetti with seafood ( muscles/scallops/shrimp) and I had the King scallops ( the best I’ve had-served in the open shells Marsala ). Cabernet from Slovenia was great as well as the dessert of thin carmalized pineapple slices and Milleflorie (layered berry pastry) both with fresh whipped cream!
