Al Nono Risorto

A lovely restaurant: tasty food, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere and really cool jazz. We visited 3 times and were happy every time. Great pizza! After long days visiting museums and walking around Venezia, it was so nice to come here and relax for a while.

It was a pleasure to be there. We found this place accidentally and it turned out to be the best place in Venice to eat. Meals are really fresh and delicious. Waiters and owner of the restaurant are very kind. Totally recommend it if you want to try food in real venetian style!

Pictures don’t make it justice. The Venetian style squid was the softest and most delicious one I have ever tried. Service was super friendly as well even though we got there only a few minutes before they closed the door. Ambience was also on point, with a beautiful open backyard and a lively atmosphere.

Al Nono Risorto is a fantastic garden restaurant with shade trees and vines to keep you cool. It is a nice oasis in the packed streets of Venice. Reasonably priced sea food pasta, local specials, and pizzas. Get there early for the lunch and dinner times to beat the crowds.

While Venice can be way too overcrowded, managed to find this little place (recommended by our Airbnb host), and it was such a relief. Got to sit in a shaded garden courtyard under a tree and have lunch. As with most places here, make sure you get there right at lunch time to get a spot for a peaceful lunch.

Amazing experience, ambience, and food. The sweet and sour sardines antipasti were so good! Really enjoyed the vegetarian basmati rice dish and seafood spaghetti too.

Great outdoor garden space and simple yet delicious food. Book a table early, we were there for 2.5hrs enjoying our food and wine! Bottle of house wine: €10!

We had several antipasti that were delicious and as main we went with the monk fish and tiramisu for desert. Would definitely return.

We came here on a recommendation from a friend and the food was really good. Pasta dish was delicious and the squid was really good. First time I've tried squid covered in ink. They provide bread sticks and then bread. Definitely check out this place.

Traditional Venetian restaurant with great food and good portions without breaking the bank. Perfect to taste typical food and the quality was superb! Home made base pizzas. Beware, it’s really busy so book a table or try your luck! Would 100%recommend

We just got back from Venice and ate twice at Nono's and it was the best food we had during our trip! Claudio was extremely generous with his time and very friendly. We can't wait to return!

Very good authentic italian food! You can sit outside in a nice garden and the menu has a big verity of different kind of meals. Can only recommend!

We found this restaurant by incident and loved it at first sight. There is a cute little backyard with a nice atmosphere. The staff pays a lot of attention to their guests. Even tough the restaurant was pretty crowded we only waited a short period of time for the food. We ordered cheese, wine, pizza and lasagne and all of it was delicious! We recommend this restsurant to everyone who wants to spend a nice and chilled evening after a long day of sightseeing.

We arrived quite late in Venice, our hotel directed us to this fabulous place. Excellent food and service, hopefully we shall return very soon.

It was restaurant that I visited in Italy and I fully recommend it to everyone. The price wasn’t high.
I ate carbonara and it was very delicious, a lot of cheese and taste of egg yolk. Aperol was the tastiest I’ve drunk.
And dessert was the perfect one.

One of the best lunches I’ve had in Venice. Brownie points for the soft bread. I had the octopus and potato starter and the mussel & clam spaghetti as a main. Great quality of food, lovely service, great courtyard.

Beautiful setting and delicious food! I recommend the gnocchi - it’s homemade and the best I have ever had. Pizza is delicious as well. Well worth trying this place!

A great lunch. The carbonara was the best I've had.

We found a table on its beautiful outdoor terrace and we had a few drinks and a starter but the service was fast and good and the food, delicious! We were so full we couldn't eat anything else, which made us sad because the food seemed fabulous!
