Hotel Margherita

Great hotel. Location is great. View from the rooms balcony is amazing. Bus station in front of hotel. They provide a shuttle service to Praiano. Restaurants, Barber, Grocery store, Laundry and over the counter pharmacy within very close walking distance. Rooms are clean, beautiful and many amenities. Staff is amazing. Friendly, helpful, will go out of their way to help any way needed. Help with any arrangements you need for whatever you want to A nice pool and work out area for those wanting to relax at the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic. Many choices and options for any diet. We will forever be grateful how they helped our daughter when she fractured her ankle one night during our stay. Provided transportation to the pharmacy in town to get our prescriptions, called for an ambulance to transport her to the hospital for x-rays and arranged for transportation to the airport for her. Always asked how she was doing. We hope to return sometime in the near future and would love to spend our time there with this beautiful hotel and people that make it such a special place to stay on the Amalfi coast. Thanks again

This hotel was one of the best things of our trip to the Amalfi coast. The service was fantastic. There always seemed to be multiple staff members ready to help you at any moment. The staff would help us coordinate and navigate to nearby cities. They helped us figure out the bus system and getting to our destinations such as the ferry to Capri. They also arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport. After we checked out, they held our luggage for us and arranged for a trusted driver to meet us in a nearby town with our luggage later that afternoon.

Lovely hotel and the best people. We were so happy to escape the busy crazy of Positano and come here just a bit away but quiet and peaceful. It was a stormy day but we enjoyed the amazing view from our room. Parking was easy and included vs E50 in Positano.

We stayed here for 4 nights during our honeymoon and it was above and beyond our expectations. I'm not sure we've ever been as welcomed and taken care of by a hotel staff as we were while staying here. The rooms were spacious with beautiful balcony views of the sea. Most importantly while visiting during their hottest week of the year, their air conditioning was ice cold. A very short walk to great local restaurants and they have a private shuttle if you back and forth to the beach in Praiano. If you want to make the trip to Positano during the days there is a bus stop right out front of the hotel and you can get tickets from the front desk for $2-3 per ticket. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to any of my friends and family. Thank you again to the entire staff!

Beautiful hotel with an amazing view. Was much cheaper than a lot of hotels we looked at in Praiano and the entire Amalfi Coast. We were worried something was wrong with it. But, nothing was. The staff was perfect, the hotel was spotless, and it's probably the best view in the Amalfi Coast. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay memorable. Best hotel I've ever stayed at, and we travel a lot. Thank you!

I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The location is wonderful. Right at Praiano, between Positano and Amalfi. Also there’s a bus stop right in front. Arguably better stay than either of the two more popular towns.

The service is the best I’ve ever had, anywhere. So personal, responsive and customized. They answer all of your questions and most requests. Please be kind to the staff and they will treat you with the best hospitality.

The room is more than adequate. It’s surprisingly comfy and full of amenities.

We had the pleasure of staying in the Villa which was a great experience so I can’t comment on the other rooms. All the staff were marvelous from the breakfast workers to the front desk. Situated on a relatively quite road it is within 20 minute walking distance of the centre of town. The restaurant is very nice, reservations are a must.

Would absolutely come back here again and will recommend to all others. The service and food is exceptional. They also have a free shuttle to get to close by places. Very helpful and great rooms.

The hotel location is perfect. So close to Positano and Amalfi.

Our stay was nothing short of perfect. The hotel is beautiful, our room was big with the most incredible view. The staff here are all amazing, so kind and accommodating. We wanted to do a boat tour and they recommended the best guy to take us out - Frankie’s boat tours. The location is great, we were able to walk all over the place, and the hotel offers a shuttle too! Whole experience in Praiano was a dream and we love hotel Margherita so much!!

This place was better than I could have ever imagined! It was clean, spacious well stocked and the staff were the best hosts anyone could have ever asked for! There is a shuttle that will take you down to the Marina di Praia and other places and they run all day long. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I can't wait to come back!!!

This is a beautiful hotel with a spectacular view. The best thing though is the wonderful staff. All the employees are very young but run the hotel flawlessly. To me its a 10 star experience.

Hotel Margherita is AMAZING. I know that the Amalfi coast has a lot of hotels and high end places to stay but please, please, please do not pass up Hotel Margherita. We stayed here during our honeymoon and every moment was amazing. The staff is friendly, helpful, and kind. They are beyond attentive and helpful at any hour of the day. The restaurant is amazing! The views of the coast from our balcony was amazing! We have stayed in many hotels in our lifetime and this will definitely leave a long last imprint. I also want to say that Praiano is a more quite town than others. However, the staff is more than willing to help you get to wherever you need to go. I give this hotel an infinite amount of stars!

Loved this hotel. It’s a family run establishment and they make you feel so welcome. The room was clean and had the perfect little touches. The view from the balcony was stunning. We ordered breakfast on the balcony and everything was fresh and delicious. We dined in their restaurant, the food and staff were great. The entire experience was top of the line. Definitely going to stay here again.

My family and I loved our stay at Hotel Margherita, very welcoming and attentive from the second you walk. Breakfast and rooftop restaurant we’re superb. The rooms were very clean, and comfortable. We loved the location and everything included, look foward to visiting again! Thank You!

Hotel Margherita in Praiano on the Amalfi Coast is a wonderful hotel with superb views, excellent service and extremely comfortable, very high quality bedding. The staff greeted us after a five hour drive with an offer of prosecco and a Garibaldi. Shuttle service to a lovely beach at the Marina with water taxis to other locations on the drive and Capri. The breakfast is amazing and the rooftop restaurant is superb. Lots of vegetarian options, great wine list, and great service. It was so good we ate here all three nights.

What a gem of a hotel. Family-owned and run, they welcome you like family. From the reception at check in (with the best fresh squeezed orange juice ever and wine!) to friendly front desk, we always felt warmth by their family. each activity we were taking was explained and tips given by the front desk. We were able to purchase the local bus tickets from the front desk (instead of scrambling for change when getting on the bus). The host, Suela, really took time to make sure we were okay for the day! She saved our family from 1800 steps up to the path of the gods by suggesting to start at Positano. We enjoyed a lovely hike from Positano to Praiano along the path.

Our room was a family suite - king plus two singles - was clean and comfortable. It had the most amazing view of the sea. The beach towels were perfect for the day trips to the beach and the swimming pool. There was virtually no noise from other rooms, I got my best nights of sleep in Italy at this hotel. They had water filling stations and if you ask they’ll give you ice!!!

Finally, the breakfast that was included, was exquisite! Bianca, the breakfast host, was so welcoming and friendly, and their spread was incredible! My family enjoyed the croissants that you can fill with filling of your choice. The omelette and pancakes to order were great!

We town was quaint and quiet, not the crowded and loud like Positano. The views were incredible.
Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely fantastic hospitality. The whole staff went above and beyond in order to help us plan activities in the most convenient way possible. They also helped us figure out things in the room like the jacuzzi and room service. On our way out of the hotel, we left the hotel at 6 AM to catch our flight, and for this, they actually packed us breakfast in a separate bag because the hotel breakfast wasn’t open yet. These are just a few examples of the wonderful hospitality.

Out of all the hotels we have stayed in, this was by far one of the best experiences we had!
