La Strada

We stayed in Praiano for 5 nights and this place was recommended by our host, we ended up coming for dinner two nights because the food is amazing and the service is delightful! The views are also stunning! (If you plan on coming make a reservation earlier in the day so you are able to get a spot on the railing)

First of all, I like an atmosphere here and service. There are an amazing view from the terrace. Our pasta was tasty, but the mics salad was bitter.

We recently dined at La Strada on the Amalfi coast, and had a great experience. The view from the restaurant was absolutely stunning, with the sunset over the water creating a picturesque backdrop that added to the charm of the meal.

We ordered the special starter, prosciutto and figs, and for mains a seafood pasta (pictured, accidentally started before taking a pic!) the pasta had such a generous portion of seafood, and the sauce was super tasty. We were full from the mains but couldn’t resist some dessert, profiteroles and the lemon ice-cream, both delicious.

The service at La Strada was friendly and attentive, which added to the pleasant experience. To complete the meal, the staff recommended a local wine which was lovely.

In summary, La Strada offers a memorable dining experience with its stunning view, tasty food, and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit!

Loved our date night at La Strada. Such friendly staff, we suspect all the one family! Obviously loved by locals as many popping in and out to say hello. Amazing selection of wine, pizzas, pastas and appetisers!

Beautiful view and the most amazing tiramisu I have ever had. Tiramisu is my most favourite dessert and the tiramisu at La Strada is the best one I have ever tasted. 10/10. Amazing tiramisu. The view is amazing. The pasta and fish were good and the service was lovely. Check it out if you’re on the coast.

This was the best restaurant of our entire holiday in the region. The prices are Italian (not those of the Amalfi coast), the peoples are really kind, and the food is exactly what you would expect from an excellent traditional Italian restaurant. Simply delicious and with an incredible view over Positano. Can’t recommend enough (and I am difficult)

This was a great place. The staff was so friendly and helpful with suggestions. Didn't know about the local wines, but he explained then all. This is a definite must .

We dined at La Strada for dinner and then again for lunch, both great experiences. It was very busy in the evening for dinner but service was excellent, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious. I had the margherita pizza and my husband had spicy sausage on his. I didn’t get a picture of our shared starter (a mixture of fried delicacies) or dessert (tiramisu) as I was too focused on eating!!

It was much quieter at lunch time and we enjoyed a table by the window, with a fantastic view of the coast. I had the meatballs with tagliatelle and my husband had lemon ravioli - a must have in the Amalfi coast. We had delicious semi-freddo (pistachio for me, lemon for him) for dessert.

This restaurant has good views overlooking the ocean. The wait staff is accommodating and very attentive. We enjoyed the food. The fish was delicious. The wine is also very good.

My dining experience here with my family was absolutely fabulous. Lots of options on the menu for antipasto, first, and second courses, seafood and fish, and dessert. The wine list is extensive, and they can also make many different types of mixed drinks. I had stuffed zucchini flowers (seasonal) and the seafood risotto; both were delicious! Table service was attentive and helpful. The upstairs seating area has a fantastic view of Positano. Will be going back!

Lots of things to like about this restaurant. Great view and atmosphere. Happy, attentive and helpful staff. Varied menu with a good balance of meat, fish and pasta. My wife and I had homemade pasta dishes and they were outstanding. The man sitting next to us had fish and was quite complimentary. Strong local wine list.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our dinner here. We stopped by after the place we were originally planning on going to was closed. We are so glad we stumbled upon this place. We didn’t have a reservation and we’re not able to sit on the terrace but they did have a table for us outside on the lower patio. We really enjoyed the food and the service was the best service we’ve had on our entire trip. I’m not sure the name of the woman who worked there and waited on our table but she was a delight. We actually enjoyed it so much we’re going back tonight. I’m excited to try the pizza this time because it just smelled amazing.

Delicious food, excellent service, and great atmosphere! We went to La Strada after drinks at a local bar and got there a bit late. The staff was so friendly and nice, they didn’t rush us out. Food was delicious! Wish we would have eaten here more on our trip! Thank you!

Great views, great service and great food! What more could you want. The today’s special pasta was great, the sauce was very tasty with cherry tomatoes and calamari. All reasonably priced too. Would recommend a visit. Book in advance if you want a seat at the front overlooking the views!! Came back a 2nd night!!

This place was a life saver for us and they did us great food with a smile. We got caught out on a very rainy day, late in the season and after normal lunch time but they kept the kitchen open. We got very tasty hot food and beer (at a good price!) - what more could you want!

Absolutely amazing! We highly highly recommend this place! The staff was a pleasure, the drinks were delicious, and the food was insane. Everything from the lemon ravioli, to the risotto, to the limoncello martini drink was absolutely wonderful.

Seating upstairs comes with a view of the water. All your attention will be on the food, however 🤤

Romantic and beautiful. Overlooking the sea. Pizza and tiramisu was delicious. We had a locally made red wine which made it a great dinner experience on our first night in Praiano

Located near the edge of Praiano’s town center, La Strada boasts a lovely setting with sunset views. The food and service were both above average – not knock-your-socks-off, but definitely leaves you wanting to come back again. Great wine list. Our hotel offered a free shuttle to La Strada and the nearby restaurants, so it was a no-brainer. We will definitely look to dine here again!

Excellent food and atmosphere. We were seated upstairs with a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea and Positano.
We started with an appetizer of shrimp wrapped in lemon leaves... amazing and perfect to share. We then had sea bass for 2 persons baked in sea salt for our main entree...wonderful, moist, and perfect portion size. The kids had pizza and loved every bite. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
