We had a reservation and friendly smiles greeted us. Highly recommend having reservations at good restaurants in Venice. Thus the culinary delights began: I love a place that has warm bread with olive oil at the start! We waited for it, and it was worth the wait.
I started with the polenta with fish appetizer. All the fish was fresh, buttery like it had just been caught. Mixed grilled seafood was a hit! Well seasoned, delicious. They served us freshly baked bread which was warm and delicious.
My steak and green peppercorn sauce was amazing.
The fried calamari was lightly breaded and crispy and came with mixed lightly breaded vegetables, a nice touch!
Service was friendly and so were the other customers.

I had an incredible dining experience at Trattoria da Denis. The linguine with seafood was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients. Our waiter, Fridi, provided exceptional service, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was charming and inviting, adding to the overall wonderful experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal. 10/10!

The best restaurant in Venice!! We found it by mistake, but it was the best mistake ever! We ate there 3 days in a row! Food was exceptionally good, service was also amazing! We loved it and we highly recommend it everyone who visits Venice!! The seafood pasta was by far the best we ate in Italy this far!!

I ordered the tomato shrimp pasta. It was so delicious and the boil was perfect. I hope to visit again someday. I really recommend this restaurant. Grazie!

Excellent quality of food and wine. Very friendly service. Seafood pasta was top! And so was the beef steak. Prices are very reasonable. Location is beautiful and you can enjoy sitting outside when the weather is dry.

Fantastic authentic family restaurant, amazing food, fantastic service and very special wines all at a great price. Fun ambiance, you can’t go wrong with this little gem!

One of the best meals I've had on my trip to Italy so far! We had a meal deal which included a pasta dish and a main dish (out of 2 choises for each course), so my partner and I both got it and had all the options. Each one of them was outstanding, stunning plating and the food was just so delicious! House wine was also very nice for a good price! Service was very basic but no complaints there.

Great seafood options.

Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection.
We got the sardine, prawns with onions and pickled cabbage along with grilled scallops. Best Scallops I’ve ever had.

For our main course we got both fish of the day - bass and cuddle fish, ravioli and fried seafood platter. The bass was executed very well. It has the perfect balance of salty and acidity.

First night in Venice and finding this little restaurant was awesome 👍 - wasn't a tourist trap either.
Great prices and home cooked food - we had the Cottoletta Milanese and Tagliolini Neri with capesante and pomero (with olives) and were very impressed

Delicious food, lovely staff and gorgeous atmosphere. The seafood linguine was stunning - wish me and my fiancé had stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant earlier on in our Venice trip!

Started with octopus salad, which was delicious.

Then onto lasagna and pappardelle bolognese. The lasagna was very unassuming, but wow it was fantastic. The pappardelle was cooked al dente to perfection.

Last, was the tiramisu that was spot on in taste and velvety.

Perfect spot away from the hustle and bustle that allowed time to relax and enjoy your food.

The food is very good but a little bit expensive. It's a nice place with a little terrace wich is pleasant to enjoy your lunch.

One of the best meals we have had in Italy. Great food, nice atmosphere, good service. A bit off the beaten path but if you are in this vicinity, I strongly recommend this restaurant. Seafood pasta tastes amazing!

Delightful restaurant with very helpful and friendly staff. Fairly priced for Venice. The food was exceptional. The lasagne was really very tasty and the beef salad was delicious. Home made deserts including chocolate cake and Panna cotta with caramel. I would absolutely recommend a visit. There is seating both inside and out and very family friendly. We are her on the late night of a very special holiday and it was a great way to end it.

Great place for dinner: a lot of sea food options and traditional italian dishes (spagetti, lazania). No pizzas! Food was very good, a good ratio between price and quality. No hidden charges. Possibility to pay with card. Service was also good, warm personnel. Definatly reccomend!

Excellent dishes, and very nice service. It is a restaurant recommended in the Guide du Routard, and it is well deserved.

Hidden gem but worth finding. Delicious food and very reasonable prices.

After days of disappointingly mediocre meals in Venice a local recommended this little gem. Absolutely outstanding food, friendly service, reasonable prices, and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. We did not feel like tourists here, and every person at our table had a fabulous meal. If we ever come back to Venice I would eat here every night. I had the grilled sea bass, which the waiter filleted at the table. So fresh! Delicious food and a wonderful experience.

A wonderful place far enough away from the touristy hustle and bustle, on a relatively quiet street. A nice of mix of locals and quiet tourist couples. Service was very friendly, patient, fun, and helpful. Food was delicious, and between waiter recommendations and the specials, we were set. Ravioli filled with sea bass were of particular note, but I imagine anything is good here.
