La Conchiglia

I daydream about this place so often it’s almost on the edge of toxic (lol). I cannot wait to get back and spend few days here. This family owned hotel is a gem of a place. The services is 20/10. It also has few rests around and the beach is just beautiful.

Beautiful family owned hotel. I hope to return to this place one day. The view from the rooms is incredible. The beach, bars and restaurants are all walking distance. There are lots of local tour companies to book excursions or experiences. The hotel is clean and comfortable. We slept so well and felt at home. The staff, Signora Pina and Martina who operate the hotel go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and ensure you have everything you need. The food is amazing too. A must stay if you're visiting this area.

Very few places like this left. We were checked in by daughter and scorned to our room. Normally in other hotels given the key and good lock finding your room. Next morning for breakfast received by mother and guess how cooks… yes, grandma. They made us feel in only 3 days as family.

Best location on the Amalfi coast. Close to bus stop without a uphill hike. Close to beach without any hike! More secluded and chill than rest of Amalfi coast. Great swimming. Great included breakfast. Staff so lovely and friendly! Obsessed. Will recommend to anyone!

I recently stayed at a La Conchiglia, a charming family-run bed and breakfast on the beach in Praiano, Italy and I must say that it was a truly delightful experience. The staff was simply amazing, making me feel welcomed and at home from the moment I arrived. They were always willing to go the extra mile to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The breakfast was nothing short of incredible, with a variety of homemade treats that were simply delicious. Everything was made with care and attention to detail, making it an absolute pleasure to start each day.

The access to the beach was unbeatable, just a few steps from the front door of the bed and breakfast. I spent many hours relaxing, enjoying the beautiful views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. It was truly a magical experience.

Finally, the rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable. The decor was tasteful and welcoming, with everything I needed to feel at home during my stay. The bed was cozy and the linens were soft and luxurious, making it easy to drift off to sleep each night.

Overall, I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay on the beach in Praiano, Italy. The staff, breakfast, access to the beach, and rooms were all simply wonderful, and I can't wait to return someday.

We did not stay at the hotel, but the restaurant was amazing. The drinks are more than worth the price and the food is so fresh. When you walk in the mother of our kind server Pina (mothers name is Luisa) greats you with a huge smile. I love this family run joint and it feels so homey. Wish I could go again!

My husband and I came here for a couple drinks after we went to a nearby restaurant for dinner. We were struggling to find a way home and the owner took such great care of us and made sure we got home safe, as we were staying in a nearby town. The prices for drinks can not be beat! And the Italian hospitality was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Shoutout to Martina too!

La Conchiglia is the perfect place to stay while on the Amalfi Coast! My room was very clean and spacious. I easily took a water taxi or bus to / from Positano during my stay. The location was right near the beach and close to several restaurants. Martina and her family were absolutely amazing! Excellent service and value for dollar. I highly recommend everyone to book La Conchiglia .

Thank you, Pina! My friend and I got stuck at Marina di Praia and Pina went out of her way to find us a way back to our hotel. She is the sweetest and I imagine an amazing host! We also grabbed some paninis at her bar and they were super tasty ☺

Family owned nice little place, away from crowd yet close to town. Owners welcome you every morning with a smile and complimentary breakfast. Rooms are good size and very clean. Beach is public but never too crowded. Water taxi and boat rentals right there. Couple of nice restaurants as well. Bus stop 3 mins by walk. Highly recommend this place!

This place is a little slice of heaven. The cove and surrounding restaurants are great. La Conchiglia is clean and comfortable, with a wonderful family taking care of you. The rooms are spotless and the air conditioning is very good! Steps to the water, a patio with a view, in an uncrowded paradise only a boat ride away from Amalfi or Positano.

We didn’t stay overnight but stop by the restaurant that is owned by the same lady and her Mom. They were so sweet and attentive, definitely recommend to stop by even if you just want a glass of wine or a cappuccino.

This is the perfect place to stay on the Amalfi coast if you don’t want to stay right in the zoo. It is down a ravine from the coast road so private and quiet. There is a swimming beach, kyack rentals and excursion pier right there. Also a lovely passagiatta cut into the hillside that takes you other restaurants and bars. The hotel is family run. Nonna in the kitchen. Mom serving in the dining room. Grandpa in the bar. And very sweet Martina, the daughter, helping with check in and serving- she speaks English. I love this place. I’ve stayed here twice.

Excellent location. Clean rooms and friendly staff. The owners are super nice and take care of you. Tucked away in a little nook, it's very quiet yet still has some nice restaurants nearby. Breakfast is delicious, and the bus stops right above you.

Wonderfull place and wonderful staff.
Cleaning 10, comfort 10, food EXCELLENT.
The tiny and green valley where the Conchiglia is, is a small amazing part of paradise.
And the “sfogliatelle and cornetti” home made by Grandma Luisa are the sweetest way to start your day.
Highly recommended.

This is a review for the restaurant only - the MOST amazing food I’ve had in the Amalfi coast and the prices were extremely reasonable. Its not touristy at all because nobody really knows about it and the grandma and daughter and literally cooking the meal. There are gnats on this side of the island so just shoo them away. We had the whole fish, ravioli, tagliatelle, fried seafood and octopus salad - totally lucked our plates clean!

Staff went above and beyond for me during my stay!! They were so helpful and welcoming, the location is stunning and the hotel restaurant serves well priced, homestyle italian cooking. A little difficult to get to if you have mobility trouble (as its at the bottom of a steep hillside) but totally worth it.
