Venice Mestre

We used this train station in Venice Mestre more often when we were in Venice because our hotel is just across the street from the train station.

I'm glad my friend told me not to stay on the island. The Venice Mestre station is only one station before the terminal station in Venice. The station is way less crowded and easy to access.

The bus stop is right at the front and many restaurants are within a few minutes walk.

Lots of passanger tracks. You can see lots of beatuy from east. Wait relax or beeing hectic to catch/change other train.

Big station with lots of platforms. Ticket machines seem to be different, one wouldn't let us buy multiple tickets, but staff were on hand to help, might have been is though! We found parking 15 minute walk near Interspar that was quite cheap, car park didn't take cards so bring cash.

Convenient and easy to use trains and station. I don't know about an electric wheelchair, but my manual, light ride, did fine. The most difficult thing was to find an Italian who was speaking English, to tell him to wait until the procedure was done!

Main station in venezia, juist before Santarucia station in venezia main island!!

Everything seems fine: easy to get to with bus, clear signs, includind arrival, delays, departure and rail number. Free toillet, 2 cafés, food store, pizza, several shops, higher station prices, but capuccino & croissant 1,80&1,30 eu. Kind stuff, space to sit and drink coffee, elevator working.

The staff were very helpful and assisted us purchasing the tickets. Be careful for pick pockets though

Station with good signalization, easy to buy tickets on the machines and it's not too hard to find staff when you need assistance. There are a few shops inside and some others in the areas around to suit most of your basic needs.

Previous reviews helped us save money and get the right service. We bought a two day ticket to use on buses and the actv waterbus at €30 each. Take the number 2 bus from Mestre train station to Venice, then hop on the actv waterbus service up and down the Grand Canal all day.

Train station for Vinicia. It is not far from the bus station.if you want to go or return from the Vinicia airport it is very easy. Not crowded like the main station.

Great connection to venice and the rest of the country. Buy your tickets from the ticket machines. Or ticket office is goin to charge you 1 euro for every single ticket.

If you’re going into Venice, get there before 6:30:7am!!
