Hellnafell Guesthouse

Simply breathtaking views, very comfortable, and private. We watched a seal from the front window and horses and sheep from the rear. The mountains, waterfalls and oceanfront views were incredible. Loved the small village setting. Wish we could have stayed longer. Host was conscientiousness and quick to respond to communications.

Beautiful! ...just don't get too too caught up on the one side everybody takes pictures of. The mountains on the other side are spectacular too!

There's also a small parking lot past the falls that gives more information on Kirkjufells geologic history.

Good place to stay with a couple of friends. Perfect view of mountain and sea, also saw the strongest northen light here when i didnt expexct a lot with the weather

Lugar con unas vistas increíbles a KIRKJUFELL. Muy tranquilo, amplio y salón con ventanales espectacular!

Einmalige Alleinlage mit direktem Blick auf Islands "berühmtesten" Berg. Sogar aus dem Schlafzimmer hat man den direkten Blick aufs Meer und den Berg. Direkt um das Haus grasen Pferde und sind Schafe zu sehen. Ebenso sind viele Vögel vor Ort zu beobachten. Geräumiges Haus, gut ausgestattet. Auch die Küche bietet alles was man braucht. Die Sauberkeit war ebenfalls gut. Das Bad ist etwas klein und fensterlos, aber das ist zu verkraften. Leider ist aktuell der Hot Tub nicht vorhanden, laut Gastgeberin soll dieser aber bald wieder verfügbar sein. Dies würde das Erlebnis noch perfekter machen. Alles in allem ist das Haus rundum zu empfehlen.

Tolles guesthouse, sehr geräumig, gut ausgestattet, alles sauber. Tolle Aussicht auf das Meer. Viel Platz für Kinder zum spielen. Ein paar Sehenswürdigkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe.

住在這邊可以清楚看到教會山，還可以在此處拍攝極光與教會山倒影，24小時都可以拍攝，而且因為是私人住宿，車子直接停在門口，也不會有人來人擠人，角度也非常ok，根本不用跑到瀑布區去，廚房設施也非常完善，還有很多調味料，也有些旅客留下來的麵與飯，建議到超市購買食物回來煮食，費用也不貴，但僅有一間，非常建議家庭旅遊六人入住此處！！！
我們在晚上抬頭就可以看到滿滿極光，完全不虛此行！！

Die bestmögliche Lage in Grundarfjördur! Das Haus hat 2 größere und 2 kleine Schlafzimmer. Küche ist gut ausgestattet, gibt viele Gewürze, Salz, Öl, Mehl u.a. Das Bad könnte etwas größer sein und es gibt kleinere altersbedingte Schönheitsmakel, die uns aber nicht gestört haben. Die Aussicht zum Frühstück und Abendessen ist einfach der Hammer 👍 Würden jederzeit wieder hierher kommen.

Une demeure vraiment bien située. Grande maison, bien agencée, bien équipée. En face du Kirkjufell.
