Kirkjufell Hotel

Stayed for 2 nights. Great newly-renovated clean room (203), nice view, nice breakfast, friendly staff. Free coffee, hot pot. For Iceland a wonderful hotel for this money. Thank you for making our stay so great.

It is a pretty decent offering for a 3 star hotel, the beds are comfortable, the shower is good, but the physical size is tiny. Good view out our window of the sea.
Located on a shipping port, there is street parking and parking available around the back of the building. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, not sure why there are so many complaints.

This is just the best hotel in the area. The man in the reception and the Islandic young lady were just THE BEST. We went out camping the day before our stay, it was a long night, it was raining so much and so hard that our tent was leaking and our jackets, sleeping bags and clothes were soaked. It has been raining for 24 hours so we wanted a not so expensive place to relax, with laundry or dryers and to have a night in a real bed, because forecast says it will still be raining tomorrow.

Well, there were available rooms that morning and I called asking if there was a dryer available, they say yes. When we arrived, the man in reception was very kind, he pointed us to the breakfast room and offer coffee and breakfast! This is the first time a hotel offers free breakfast when you are actually suppose to check in in the afternoon! So we will get 2 breakfasts for 1 night. We were not very hungry but ate some fruit and coffee.

Also, they gave us our room immediately, 7 hours before check in time! No extra charge!

Finally, the young and kind woman in reception received our huge sleeping bags, jackets and clothing, they took it to their own dryer machine, and after 1 hour she knocked on our door with everything already dry and at no cost!!!

The rooms are very big and clean, great location and views, please don't think anymore and stay at Hotel Framnes!

Most comfortable bed we slept on in our tour of ring road. WiFi works well. Breakfast is awesome— coffee, waffle maker, eggs, meats, and more. The view of the ocean out our window topped it off nicely. Overall, great stay!

Great hotel but located in the middle of a couple of fish factories, so the smell sometimes is annoying. The place itself is cozy and clean. Breakfast is good. Staff at the front desk is helpful. They helped me with a smal issue I had regarding my vehicle.

located in a safe and quilt town surrounded by snow mountain and sea,this hotel is clean and warm. It is only one minute walk from the sea and five minutes from restraunt~In the evening you can enjoy free cafe there~if you like you can play the piano~very nice breakfast and the hosts are warm hearted.

Stayed there for one night in November and loved the cozy atmosphere at the hotel and the sauna to warm up after sightseeing in the snow and freezing cold outside. The view is beautiful and the reception staff were really nice.

We loved the small town. Owners were amazing. The breakfast was good. The room had ocean view. Small hotel nestled in small town. Great experience.

The staff was as bent as you can expect!! Always on top of everything & asking to help. Not to crowded & Good breakfast .
Very basic room but altogether- good

Hótel Framnes is a great place I stayed there for one night and couldn’t be happier. The staff was friendly and the room was big and clean with a view over the ocean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that’s about to do a trip around Snaefellsnes peninsula or going west.

You can be in trust, that you will have a good time there, in a clean room, nice servicepersonal and verry good food.
Go to cafe/Pizzaria Laki, too. Pizza is great (and an menus too :) )

Great hotel and wonderful restaurant! We got a room in another building nearby and everything was new and shining. Make sure you have dinner at the hotel restaurant, the food (especially the fish) is fantastic!

Clean and quiet hotel in a beautiful Icelandic town.

The view is lovely and the beds are nice and welcoming. The hotel itself is rather small but offers a sauna and breakfast!

Clean rooms, sheets, and towels, very comfortable beds. Great breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend!

We went to stay at Kirkjufell hotel over the festivals in August, the stay was great also the breakfest was very good.Then we went to Kirkjufell mountainn and took some pictures.

Clean, quiet, let us check in early and GREAT room. Saw the Northern Lights all night from our window or outback by the bay.

Good attention and service. Room clean and bathroom recently remodeled. Close to the sea and walking distance from a wine and grocery store

Small hotel nier the fjord with kind arab personal. For disability only lower ground, no lift to first and second floor.

Very accommodating. Construction all around it (not their fault) but nice place to stay with tons of hikes to do around it!
