This is worth your time. With the very nice and clean rooms and supplies with coffee and glasses for drinks this is what you want. It’s close to walk to the coast and into town. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome and that you’re not a bother. They have free coffee in the morning even if you don’t do breakfast. The outdoor pool is so clean and it’s warm enough even if it’s cold out. Everything was wonderful and I’d come stay here again if and when I visit Keflavík again. Very close to the Keflavík airport. Just impressed with everything and I’m very picky and pessimistic.

I spent a night in this lovely hotel, last night on my second trip to Iceland. I chose it after I read good reviews in a French magazine, and was not disappointed - to say the least! Super warm welcome from the lovely receptionists who welcomed us and said bye to us. Our standard room was very comfy, the hot pool on the rooftop was a great addition. They also offer free shuttle to the airport: it's a time and money saver if you stay anywhere else near the airport, any taxi to get there would cost you a minimum of USD 20 even if it's only a few minutes ride. We didn't test their restaurant, we wanted to explore the area and were gifted with great recommendations. They have delicious craft beers though. It was also very quiet.

🙂 The staff upgraded us to a better room upon check-in which was a nice surprise! The room was really big and comfortable and you can park your car right in front of it if you wish. The room was warm and cosy and the bed was super comfy.
There is also a very nice restaurant on-site but it's quite expensive. However, this hotel is probably the best one close to the airport.

🙁The check-out - there was no one at reception (at 8 am) and even though I waited for at least 5 minutes, I had to just leave my key and leave or 1 would be late to my car's drop-off. Wish I had received a text with an apology at least.
I didn't think the bathroom was very clean - there were smudges on handles and some stains in the sink.
Other than that, I will probably stay here again soon.

Excellent hotel for access to KEF airport with a free shuttle (drop off only) at all hours. 10 minutes to airport. Rooms are typical Icelandic style and fairly spacious. Excellent WiFi, but TV is limited with no way to connect devices. Cozy lobby area with a fire and space to relax with a drink. Dinner at the restaurant was outstanding. Highly recommended as an airport hotel.

Great place to stay, reception staff was extremely friendly! Room was spacious, cosy and clean and overlooked the bay as well as the town. The rooftop pool was definitely a highlight - we enjoyed the warm water in the pool to ourselves while the snow was falling. Unfortunately we had no time to enjoy the breakfast. It’s walking distance to the Main Street in town

I’m writing this review from the second floor pool/hot tub the morning of my check out. This is a beautiful location right next to the water. The hotel is clean, dinner was excellent (maybe a little pricey for some but the quality was fantastic), and the staff is friendly. I was able to take several walks on the paths around the city after arriving and even walked here from the airport after my bus from Reykjavik to Keflavik. This is my last day in Iceland and I’m very happy to have closed it out with a stay at Hotel Berg. Highly recommend and I plan to stay here again the next time I come to Iceland.

This was a great hotel with an excellent location near town. It’s about 10 minutes to the Main Street with some good restaurants and shops.

Rooms were well kitted and efficient. Wonderful sized shower. The breakfast buffet has a very large and delicious variety to choose from.

Love traveling and meeting the locals. Interestingly the check in was staffed with a very friendly person from the Czech Republic.

What a great place, friendly service and a nice little suprise in our room to celebrate our honeymoon. Roof top tub with spectacular view over the sea and to mountains, also an interesting view over Keflavik. Shuttle service to airport was very efficient. Recommended stay for starting and fi fishing your trip to Iceland

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were well taken care of. The staff are incredibly friendly and one staff member even gave us tips on where to go to spot the northern lights when we mentioned we wanted to try and see them.

The restaurant was open for breakfast and dinner, both of which were delicious each time we ate there.

The hotel is just minutes from downtown Keflavik which sports a number of great restaurants and shops.

Definitely worth the stay!

Less than ideal location for a mid December layover. Staff and room were great, nice outdoor pool but the weather limited my use of it. Thanks for a nice stay!

The service that Vasil provided was above and beyond. The rooms and hot tub are nice. Highly recommend starting or ending your Iceland trip here.

Five stars for everything! Kind staff, clean and modern rooms, lobby and restaurant. Bathroom design is a bit silly. It only had one glass wall in the shower so you couldn't use it without making the whole floor wet.
Nice heated rooftop pool. Not deep enough to swim but amazing to just sit and stargaze. Free, bathrobe and slippers found in the closet of your room.
Breakfast ($18 pp) is fresh and very nice. A lot of variety, buns, cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs, bacon, yoghurt, cereal, juices, coffee, fruit and more.
Dinner menu is also very nice and worth every Icelandic crown. Recommend the tuna steak entry and cod as main! They have a nice drinks menu. The Lady's Choice (I think the name was) is amazing if you like a sweeter G&T.
Free shuttle service to the airport goes every 20 minutes and it's only an 8 minute drive. If the shuttle doesn't go, they will call you a taxi and give you a coupon to pay for the ride. Amazing!

Very nice hotel close to the airport. Spacious room, nice beds and as a bonus there is a very nice pool on the roof with a great view. Most importantly the hotel provides a shuttle service to the airport, even through the night. Our shuttle driver was very friendly.

Hotel Berg was extremely clean and accommodating. The staff were wonderful. Anything we needed at any time, they were there to help us. The shuttle back to the airport was very convenient as well, since the taxis are quite expensive. The rooftop hot-tub is really cool and we each got a robe to use. The location is close to the airport as well, so it was really nice to drive 5 minutes to check in and get some rest. The breakfast was delicious and had a large variety! It's a little expensive to stay here, but you definitely get what you pay for. If you want a really nice place to stay, this is absolutely the place to be.

Very happy with my stay here. The man @ the reception was friendly and accommodating. the view from the hot tub is awesome. You can see the northern lights at night from inside the hot tub if the sky is clear. It's 40 minutes from Reykjavík. There's a 24 hour convenience store 3 minutes away and lots of restaurants near by. It also has electric car charging/parking.

Staff was amazing. Helped me so much when my phone broke and this was my first stop on my Europe tour. Food was delicious - both breakfast and dinner. Hot tub was lovely. Room was really nice. They do charge a fee per hour to check in early. There is a shuttle to the airport when checking out. Beds were extremely soft, I didn’t want to get out.

It's very good location with great services.
In the winter season they have indoor fire that smells quite interesting if you're not familiar but it brings me to my childhood ☺

They offer free coffee from a big Nespresso machine and we benefited a lot. Especially during the night, while trying to catch the northern lights.
Highly recommend, we'll definitely stay again once we come back

What a hotel !
Where do I start… the hotel is close to the airport and blue lagoon and has a little high street 10 mins from hotel. It over looks the harbour the view is spectacular!
Was greeted by the kindest staff and came to our room… spacious, clean, modern and so lovely ( complementary shampoo and conditioner was provided and they smelt amazing.
On the roof top is a heated pool where we were lucky enough to spot the northern lights.
I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of visiting this beautiful country !
Really added something extra special to our visit !

Many thanks
Emma
