Voyage Vik / Voyages Friendship Statue

It's a hidden gem of this town that we almost missed it! We're glad we didn't. At the time, there were no reviews nor photos so we weren't sure if it existed even though we saw it on the map. There is a meaning of this statue and why it's called the statue of friendship, but I will leave that to you to discover (or you can check the picture with the description). We'd like to think of it as a statue commemorating our friendship that (with trust) led us to find this statue :p. Five stars for the view and benches nearby for romantic view. Visited on June 7th, 2019 at 9am.

We took a morning walk through the beach past the wood bridge and sat on the beautiful bench for hot tea. Perfect

Really pretty calm beach, the statue sits nearby a trail that's fun to walk on and read the boards explaining the islands history. Very peaceful. If you want a bite to eat, 'the soup company' in Vik has some great food

Besuch kann man mit einem Spaziergang an der Küste verbinden.

Vik je malá dědinka u severního ledového oceánu...pokud máte štěstí a svítí lunicko tak se projděte po ,,černé písečné pláži,,na koupání to rozhodně není
