We were staying at the hotel and had dinner. Yum! Everything we got including the bread to start was fantastic! Highly recommend and if you are staying at Hotel Kria, their complementary breakfast is fantastic! Beautiful views too!

Wonderful dinner. The food was delicious and atmosphere great (mountain view!). We really enjoyed everything from the appetizer to our main courses. For appetizers we had the soup, salad and salmon and for our mains we had the arctic char and beef. Recommend for a delicious dinner.

A delightful culinary experience to say the least. The Manhattan was nice and strong, the goat cheese salad starter was delicious, and the blue ling entree was fantastic! Top it all off with ganache for dessert, and all of this served in a modern yet cozy restaurant setting with gorgeous mountain views, and you're set for a wonderful meal to end a busy day.

The seafood soup is exceptional and everything was delicious. I had the passion fruit martini (not the best name, but very fruity with champagne froth). The artistic presentation of everything was lovely.

The complimentary bread and butter was delicious! Our salad was unique and flavorful, and a decently sized portion. Our main courses were full of flavor and depth, and uniquely created! The drinks were great and the atmosphere was lovely.

Fabulous dining experience. Service was wonderful. The view from the dining room is stunning. Diners around us were from all around the globe. Loved the butter served in rosettes on black river rocks. Fresh seafood dishes, tasty bread, nice wine list - truly an upscale cozy place to dine. Worth stopping in even if you aren't staying at the the Hotel Kria.

I had dinner here for 2 nights (on Christmas Eve and the Christmas Day) And I highly recommend it! 😊

On the first night I arrived quite late (almost the kitchen closing time) due to the snow storm but the waiters were still very friendly and got me a table, as I recalled from them they said: because it’s Christmas!

So the staff were very friendly and polite - regardless of what you ordered from the menu

On the food, they’re all tasty and I particularly loved the lamb mutten!! Personally I liked the restaurants beef and lamb dishes better than the fish dishes. Hot chocolate tastes quite heavy, won’t say it’s a bad thing but probably not for someone preferring a lighter flavour.

On the atmosphere, it’s just perfect - with the ceiling to floor windows you’ll be able to see the amazing view everywhere in the room.

Our meal at Drangar was lovely. We were not guests of the hotel, but appreciated the beautiful views offered by the dining room's ceiling-height windows. Our meal was also very tasty; we shared two entrées and two desserts, and both were robust and well-executed. However, our cocktails were the stand-out element of the experience; they were both creative, balanced, and well-presented.

Had the mushroom soup, vegetable quiche lorraine (both dishes were vegetarian) and the chocolate mousse for dessert. Everything was delicious and flavored perfectly. The dessert wasn’t too sweet either. The meal here was definitely a standout from all the meals so far in Iceland.

Great food & atmosphere. The food is really tasty, high quizine level. We had dinner after a long day & enjoyed a lot. The atmosphere is really peaceful, quite great music, really worth coming. Above all - Martha is absolutely marvelous in her attitude, she is knowledgfull professional with great skills. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, attentive service and relaxing atmosphere. We ate at the restaurant for two nights, the Cod was fantastic. We received 5 star service from Mosses. Wonderful cocktails too. The house made bread and chocolates are not to be missed! Highly recommend.

In the hotel lobby, hugh dinning room and great atmosphere. Food is tasty, service is five stars. Breakfast buffet also great, typical resort style.

Very nice restaurant inside this beautiful hotel. I took the coffee cured salmon and arctic char. Absolutely delicious!

Everything was perfect! From the starter, to the mains, deserts and even the cocktails and coffee. It’s a bit pricey but treat yourself, it’s well worth it.

Really delicious meal at this place with beautiful floor to ceiling window views of the Icelandic countryside. Would definitely recommend the haddock appetizer it was phenomenal. I would ask the staff to wait a bit between bringing out the courses as we finished three courses in about an hour, however we didn’t ask for increased time so that was our bad. Would definitely recommend if looking for an upscale Icelandic meal near Vik.

5 stars for dinner. We had the pate, salad, lamb, and Arctic char. All were very good! Restaurant has lovely ambiance

Taste really good compared to other restaurants in Vik🥰🥰🥰 as a tourist, here will not be disappointing. The lamb is especially good

We had two fantastic meals at this restaurant while in Vik staying at this hotel. We originally planned to try a different restaurant the second night, but the first meal was so good we came back! The standout was the lamb, by far the best lamb I’ve ever had. All the dishes were delicious and presentation was impressive. The room itself is beautiful with floor to ceiling mountain views. Don’t miss this place if you’re in Vik!

Simply one of the best dinner in my life and surely the best i've had in Iceland
