Shiva Cafe Jaisalmer

We have dinner with friends one of best meals, very good atmosphere and music with candle light dinner.

Lieux très sympathique et cosy au centre du fort. Installé depuis de nombreuses années et toujours la même personne SHIVA qui gère cette établissement. La nourriture est fraîche et faite de façon artisanale, en direct sans jamais la faire à l avance ce qui explique un peu d attente. La décoration locale, des peintures sur les mûrs. Un lieux à découvrir.

Un lieu très cocooning où on a envie de passer du temps. On y est accueilli chaleureusement et Shiva est un excellent cuisinier . Je vous recommande ce café restaurant sans hésitation vous n y serez pas déçu

If you are going for food, you might as well read. It is well below average. The pancake was one of the worst I have ever had.

The hospitality? Well. I arrived to stay for 10 days but the owner's son(Ganesh) was least interested. I told him that I wanted to stay there but he was busy entertaining himself on the phone and didn't even respond. I finally did stay there for a couple of days. But the treatment was far than worse. They do not want us staying at their place and looked uncomfortable and made me too.

They are obsessed with white travellers. The hospitality suddenly changes when they sight one of the Europeans. And try to be cordial just so they could make a fool of them and extract every penny possible. And Indians are just looked down upon. Understandably then. Wish them wisdom and grace!

European traveller. The owner try to sell me the room more much expensive than booking price !!!. Rooms are no so nice, old very basic.. Also try to sell me the desert safary more expensive than other places !!!. For economic, try Marigold GH.

Food was the worst I've had in India. I can't stress this enough don't go here. The people did not care about any comments I had about the food. They don't care about you they just want money.
